Are you watching the marathon? I've been recording it. Even though I won't be awake the whole time, I'm glad they're repeating all night, what they showed today. I like being "kept company" by shows during the night. Much better than waking up to an infomercial.

Nope, I like watching that show just once. Lots of surprises.

starzy is correct. I rewatched the first episodes, and Rick was talking to Morgan on the radio, every morning. He stopped as things grew worse.

Poor Rick! re: last night.

That ending (with the delusion) was kind of weak - more typical TV schmaltz than what I'd come to expect from The Walking Dead.

I hope the next episode is better... I liked it, except for the part mockingbird mentioned... but, my husband wasn't very overwhelmed. lol

since it's one of those shows that we enjoy together... I hope it will really pick up momentum and keep him interested! ^^

Anyone else feeling a wee fed up with Andrea?

Last night's episode unsettled me! :/ I know that's a silly thing to say about a Zombie show, but seeing someone cold-bloodedly killed just... and Rick. It looks like he's snapped back to reality.

^ I *gasped* ~ they actually caught me entirely offguard... it was set up brilliantly, I thought the guy had finally turned over a new leaf... /sigh
-----
Risk does seem to be a bit more *aware* of how critical things are getting... but, I still don't trust him...
------
*squeal* I actually got to watch talking dead!!! XD I never get to watch that... it's just on so late/and we don't get AMC anymore with our "new" cable provider (trying to remedy the situation, but nobody is budging). usually streaming/dling... ; ;

~Joe was really funny! XD the zombie would get (what did he say?) ~mild? "indigestion"?!?!

Axl's(spelling*?) actor (I didn't catch the name) he was super funny too! ^^ I really wanna hug the casting director of this show! Like...... Really, really!!! hahaha~
-----
.... got my husband mad though... i shouted aloud at the end, and he wasn't watching it with me.... so I may have spoiled it... or so he thinks... he just knows I got excited... (did what Chris did... *fistpump*... haha)

.... shouting "yay Merle" doesn't automatically mean anything.... right??? XD

<--- *putting self in bad girl corner*

Someone wrote in with a really clever question though... on Talking Dead... How would Shane have handled the group once having reached the prison/gotten involved with Woodsbury? Anyone???

see, I think if Shane was able to have regained his sanity... he would have taken over Woodbury in an instant... he was more militia minded than the governor (*television version, not comic version*) even. lol Plus, I think Michonne and Andrea would have sided with him (Shane), no problem... in comparison to the distrust/loyalty issues with Rick...

what say you? *curiosity* ^^; don't have to answer, if you don't care too! no biggy!! <3

As much as I wanted Andrea to end IT! Perhaps there is a better way to go about it... Or not. Hmmm

Shane didn't loose his sanity :) - he was in love with Lori... and after their last talk - he thought he might still have a chance with her if he removes Rick from the picture. Shane, was very selfish - he didn't care much about the group - but he did care about "his" love for Lori - mainly he was aiming for survival (his and hers) - he had some training, was skilled with guns and even capable of training others - but he wasn't much of a tactician. He was a bully type - the kind that acts now and thinks latter (probably an Aries Sun, Moon in Cancer, Scorpio ASC)- if Merle was the kind that conspires against others for his benefit, Shane was the kind that uses others for his benefit. Rick was the man with the plan - a true leader, the kind that thinks before acting - showing concern for the well-being of the group and a lot of discipline/self control (at least - until Lori's death). Shane wouldn't make such decision as "conquering the Prison" - as for Woodbury... that's a place he would see fit for him and Lori... he'd want to join the other side if possible, if not... keep moving - in search for a safe spot... a place that doesn't involve much danger - quite easy to take over. :)

---

I was aware of its (the show) popularity for some time, but started watching it only last week. I watched all seasons until the last/current episode - and now i have to wait one week for just one episode... ouch... :)

There's also a philosophical side to this show (as it is with most) - a life analogy if you will... one which made more sense with Michonne's appearance, with her approach - "her way of surviving the zombie Apocalypse - wile having two zombie companions at her side". There was another similar piece to this puzzle - that scene from the beginning - where a zombie was chopped to pieces - and his insides were used as a disguise by Rick and Glenn. The philosophy revolves around the idea of "blending in with the crowd.... with society (the zombies)". :)

Still confused? Picture this... the society we live in - starting with those from our entourage - are willing to bother us and stick on our back - till the point where we become one of them... forcing us to run away from them - to a safer place. :) Yet, even there - others "zombies" could act the same... so, unless you find a secluded island - to survive around them, you'll have to hide or blend in by acting in a similar way... monkey see - monkey do... or more like trying to "look like a zombie, talk like a zombie, walk like a zombie..." - and they'll leave you alone. :)

Interesting. ^^

Heartbreaking! I figured the person was who it was, but .

They got me with the backpacker - I wondered who this new character would be, and, oops...

Saturnine: I watched part of the Talking Dead, and they had me laughing out loud. I like Scott Porter from his show - he looked nervous.
