I certainly don't want anybody to claim to want to meet a more beloved figure simply because that sounds good. In fact, I commend you on your honesty, Randall. Not many people would have the courage to admit to preferring to meet a materialistic jerk like Trump rather than a spiritual master like Buddha or a genius of the human condition like Shakespeare. You deserve some credit for that. However, it would be fantastic if, in telling the truth, you could also tell us something that doesn't reflect the poverty of your own moral position.

I have every right to discern between the greatness of a true sage and the pettiness of a true sleaze. And I have every right to express that view, even if it makes you feel judged. I think it would be a disservice to you NOT to admonish your entirely disproportionate approval of Mr. Trump, and not to suggest a more noble alternative. No, there is nothing arrogant about having standards, and we should not be shamed into silence for expressing our disapproval when someone attempts to elevates a scoundrel above a saint.

And I'm not envious of sleazebags like Trump, who spend their lives struggling to reach the top of a mountain of dirty money. Clearly, you are, though, by your own shameless admissions. When I envy, I envy mystics, visionaries, and artistic geniuses. I make no secret of trying to reach the top of a very different mountain. Nor have I ever claimed to have reached it, nor to be the only person attempting that climb, nor the only person with something to share from such pursuits. If having noble ideals and ambitions, contemplating virtues, and expressing the fruits of that contemplation makes a person appear like a poseur or a wannabe-guru to certain folks who feel threatened by such talk, then so be it. You will never shame me into keeping silent about noble matters, or into feeling unworthy to speak of them. If you wish to promote more "humble" concerns, like materialism, go right ahead. I'll continue to reach for the stars, and to speak of transcendent matters, regardless of my own limitations.

If you want to ban me again, please, don't hesitate. As I've said in the past, I would wear it as a badge of honor, and you would wear it as a badge of shame. I would not be inconvenienced in the least, but would be happy to go only where I am welcome. You have absolutely NO power over me, although you like to imagine yourself as some kind of authority figure. By all means, shut out all the voices that alert you to your own petty motivations, and isolate yourself in an echo-chamber of people who dare not challenge your worship of mediocrity and greed.

Some people don't 'get' your intentions because they are not 'the same'. People live on different levels--- doesn't mean one is right or wrong, it's just "different." Some people want to kill the thing that is different from them; others just want to have playful debates;---- It's hard when you live in a world that feels isolated and you don't have someone who can relate at the same level of philosophy or interest.

READ Ray Bradbury's Short Story, "The Fog Horn." THIS short story summed up the metaphor for me.... HSC, please read this.
You are my knight-errant.... We struggle a similar questing... I just want 'the best' for others, the best for the world. We can kindred souls along the way....
