For what it's worth I laughed when I saw the title. If I knew another way to contact you I'd forward an essay someone wrote on it that would be perfect for it (posting email isn't recommended, and if you do I suggest getting rid of it after about 24 hours, and I'd show I'd gotten it as soon as I did so it could be sooner--again, NOT recommended, and I had trouble the one time I momentarily posted an email addy that I was glad I no longer actively use).

I say this, as I'm aware of my OWN tendency to want to SURF (asteroid 5181) past the 'shorter' statements and words....

In a public discussion about blogs once, I was surprised when a young person diagnosed the reason for my frustration. He asked me if I had been a 'speed-reader' in college...? With empathy, he pointed out how much more difficult this is with electronic media. (arrrrgh! gimme paper!)

No, it's not posted. Well I did post it to one board several years ago but it's private and intended only for a specific fandom so I don't encourage people to join just to see one thing (especially as they might be tempted to commit thread necromancy).

It was something an occultist (I think Thelemite) wrote for a zine, but it was footnoted and I found the idea clearly expressed that Jehovah was actually the Egyptian god of evil Set who came to demonically oppress the Hebrews and then create Christianity as a tool of evil and based on lies. A mentor of mine shared it on another board (for witches and occultists) by retyping it word for word and that was where I copied & pasted it to the board I did. Unfortunately that board was a MSN board and MSN deleted all those boards, so many brilliant threads were lost, including that one. Plenty was added, for example Set had 72 helpers and the Goetia had 72 spirits/demons (which some say are of God, which matches the "God is Set").

I could copy/paste again but it tends to offend Christians (and Jews would have just as much right to take offense since it would list them as dupes to a demon/evil god as well), and given that DD is shut down over that it doesn't strike me as being respectful of Randall.

Tell you what, perhaps for the very last time I'll post that email addy that I almost never use one more time for 24 hours max and hope that THIS TIME nothing bad happens as a result. If you (or anyone else) want to see it then send me an e-mail with an obvious title like "Jehovah & Set" or "Evil God" so I know it's not spam and I'll send a copy of that zine article.
