The eviction of Judd adds to the pre choosen feel.

I mean Judd, really

I"ve caught up on the show. Very entertaining. This is the first time I've watched BB.

I was sure Amanda had to be a Scorpio. I liked her at first and thought she was playing the game well. Not so much anymore. A Taurus? Really? lol

Helen. I liked her slightly for like a minute, but the rest of the time she annoys me. She seems phony. She seems way too confident and had this unspoken cockiness that I sensed she was trying to keep under wraps and still is. I get the vibe that she thinks she's already won it and the rest of them are idiots. Her niceness is somewhat fake. She's always trying to cheer everyone on to look like she's so sweet and get in their good graces and is playing the game better than Amanda recently by staying positive and calm and acting like everyone's friend. Her facial expressions give her away, to me anyway. She's doing whatever it takes to win (which IS the whole point, so I get it). I think she's playing smart and has been running the show for too long (along with Amanda) though. And she's not a favorite of mine. I think she needs to be taken down a few pegs. I'd like to see her on the block.

I like Candice and was sad to see Herbie go. I also like Spencer and think he's playing the game very well.

Jessie was annoying at the beginning thinking she was so hot, when she's rather average. I think she realizes she's not the hottest chick on the game now and it was nice that she kind of faded into the background for a bit and has shut up about how gorgeous she thinks she is.

Judd's nice and maybe a lot smarter than he appears to be.

GinaMarie is like nails on a chalkboard. So was that other guy .... who referred to himself as an indian chief all the time. What a douche. I hope Kaitlin stays away from him after the show and after seeing how many times he said to others that he'd have no problem throwing her under the bus.

Aaryn's a psycho ***** .

The surfer dude at the beginning.....lol.....so glad he got cut right away. I couldnt take much more of him.

I'm rooting for Candice and/or Spencer.

Hoping to see the two Taureans - Helen and Amanda get the ax. Oh and Aaryn too.

I've noticed on other shows how hard Taureans play and how calculating and savvy they can be when they want something.

Frederik from Million Dollar Listing NY is another.

Amanda's starting to really blow it now though.

Oh and Elissa, i think she thinks she's Kim Kardashian. Cannost STAND to listen to her talk. She sounds exactly like her, makes the same facial expressions and looks like she's studied her or something. I wasnt impressed with her making fun of Amanda in her bathing suit. I sense a nasty side to her that no one has seen yet. Don't like her at all or the pageant queen type of vibe she gives off.

This is the first year for the disclaimer too. It started on the 3rd show(?) right after the racist comments.

I am delighted to read both GM and Aaryn were fired for it.

I'm confused by the eviction of Judd, Juni. They didn't explain that well.

----
Nice to see you, T.

Yeah, this is a fun show to watch if they've got good competitors. If all of the competitors aren't really showing any saavy, it's pretty boring.

T, I first thought McCrae was a Scorpio. Amanda does try to run things in that self-assured Taurus-style. She's more volatile than a lot of Tauruses, though. A lot of Tauruses would be tactically charming.

I'm totally with you on Helen. I'm astounded that she just gets away with everything. It's good game play, sure, but to have no one call her out is surprising. She's playing a ton better than Amanda. You want to do the deals, and otherwise stay aloof. Getting into drama is never a good thing...unless you're Evel Dick, which I think was an anomaly.

I also agree with you on Jessie. I couldn't believe that the first words out of her mouth on the show were that she felt prettier than everyone. Someone said that she's a Taurus, and I don't really see her as one.

Judd was cool, but they didn't give him enough camera time...kinda like Andy.

I agree with you about the rest of the people as well.

I'm not pulling for Candice or Spencer, though. Candice is very smart. She pegged the male alliance before anyone. I don't think she has the social skills to win, though. Hopefully, I'm wrong about that. Spencer, in Aquarian style, apparently was jokingly talking into McCrae's microphone recently claiming that he loved child porn. That kind of thing could get him in trouble.

I think Juni and were pulling for McCrae, but his chances are going down with his attachment to Amanda. It's too bad the plot against her didn't work.

Here's a list of winners with astrological signs:

Eddie McGee - February 24th - Pisces
(Dr.) Will Kirby - January 2nd - Capricorn
Lisa Donahue - February 4th - Aquarius
Jun Song - July 19th - Cancer
Drew Daniel - April 28th - Taurus
Maggie Ausburn - August 14th - Leo
Mike "Boogie" Malin - July 16th - Cancer
"Evel" Dick Donato - June 24th - Cancer
Adam Jasinski - April 30th - Taurus
Dan Gheesling - September 1st - Virgo
Jordan Lloyd - November 21st - Scorpio
Hayden Garrett Moss - May 27th - Gemini
Rachel Reilly - October 16th - Libra
Ian Terry - March 19th - Pisces

Aries - 0
Taurus - 2
Gemini - 1
Cancer - 3
Leo - 1
Virgo - 1
Libra - 1
Scorpio - 1
Sagittarius - 0
Capricorn - 1
Aquarius - 1
Pisces - 2

Helen lost me when she said she cried to manipulate her kids. sick.

If McCrea makes a move to oust Amanda, he will still get my vote. $$ or sex, it`s up to him.
Good to see candice go and next Aaryn (pleeasssee).

You`re 2 of the few I would tell anyhow so glad you`re both here. I got bit in the face yesterday by a dog. I am heart broken. It was a new clients Lab. That hurts even more. To even ever imagine my beloved Labs biting makes me sick to my stomach.
I have never been biten and I have handled some mean poochs.
It`s a nasty bite on my cheek bone. Not much fat so the flesh just ripped off. It hurts so badly and my arm where he slammed me. The odds after how many dogs I have handled it unbelievable

Nice medical expenses racking up but she said she`s pay. Hope so.
Thanks for letting me whine !

Juni, that is really awful news. I'm so sorry to hear that. Wow, that's really terrible.

Try virgin coconut oil for the scar. You can get it at any grocery store.

*edted out the rest. You got my message here.

Hang in there and heal well.

Love you.

Oh wow, Juni! I've only been nipped by a German Shepherd pup.

I wouldn't suspect a Lab would be that volatile. Youch!

T I'm always glad to see you here. You never know when you might not see a person again, so I'm always happy to see an old friend. A while back I saw HSC on Facebook, so I friended him, but then he took off again.

I never knew that about Coconut Oil. I have some of that. I bought it when my wife got us on this crazy diet that restricted all these common food items (the worst way to diet ever). It's pretty good stuff, though it tends to overpower the flavor of whatever it's paired with.

With regard to Big Brother...I wish you could have seen Chill Town play. That's Dr. Will & Mike Boogie, two past winners. They were so entertaining in their plotting and scheming.

Thanks for that link. I think I might watch the second season. I don't think I saw it.

Wow! Second season was way different than modern seasons. The whole tone is different. The music's sadder, and the people are happier. Pre-2008, I guess. They need to bring back older people, and smarter people, and maybe some firecrackers. That cast had them all. Most of the show back then was showing the interactions between the people. Julie didn't come up in every segment.

T, thanks for the chirp up. I needed it. I usually use vit E for scarring but when I go for follow up, I will check for some oil in their bigger pharms there.

Chill town was the best ever. Boogie was a wash up as his 3rd return HG. I was disappointed but it was the charisma of the duo that worked I guess.

I missed a couple seasons early on but agree the people, plotting and game play was superior to the last 3-4 years.
It is drama now vs game play and it rendered the game lamo. Ah!! the good old days

Apologies PBB for side tracking the thread.

Game on!

Watching some Season 2 last night was a real eye opener. I've already said it, but really, the whole tone was different. There was more age variety, more looks variety, and at least as much racial diversity. The show was mostly about their interactions. You got long, running shots of people talking.

Boogie actually won the first HoH of the season, and was obviously very thoughtful and deliberate in picking whom to nominate. He repeatedly mentioned how it weighed heavy on him that he was going to cut someone's dream short. In the end, he made a pretty strategic move. He chose one person he wanted out, and put them up with the most likeable person in the house. He felt reasonably sure that by doing that, it would really be his choice that determined who went home rather than the house's. Neither he nor Will seem particularly cocky at this point. Will, by virtue of his profession (and his professed schooling, which includes more than just medicine), already has the whole house respecting his intelligence though he's keeping a low profile.

I will always hold the first BB as my fav. It had heart as well as awesome game play.

McGee was a great player and as well the others who rallied votes for him

Chill town got me hooked and it`s been BB hour time out since .

Remember season 3 when Marcellas was on the block, won POV, didn`t use it and got booted out the door

AG, remember they started out with 10 HG`s . That also made it of better quality. Less guests, more intimate convo shots.

This season and the lack of talkin shots being shared and drama in your face, the show has lost it`s vitality and my true interest.

I prefer the glory days

The producers must have seen the shock and puzzement over Judd. Amost the first 1/2 hr was devoted to why the back door. It still rang as very foolish.

AG,

Exactly what I was thinking. I zoomed in on her around the second episode and she would have been #1 on my hit list, but maybe not gone for her right away.

I think they will eventually figure it out and begin to find her a major threat. Some of them anyway.

I watched season 6. I liked it better than this current one. I was rooting for Kaysar and like America was a fan of Janelle too. Yes, she had her super ***** moments, but really knew how to play the game well and got the impression she was an okay person even though the "Nerd Herd" was trying to demonize her.

Glad Ivette didnt win it.

I started watching the current UK BB (can be found at that link), but was not able to get into it. There's an Australian and Canadian version too.

Clicked on season 3 (US) first but was having a hard time getting into that one. Partly I think because of the decor of the house. LOL Was bland back then.

I agree that it would be more interesting with a wider age variety and less youthful in-your-face drama. I don't think the current season cast are the brightest bulbs. Sort of seems it's going a little.....MTV vibe-ish? Don't know. I have not watched enough others to compare.

I might watch some more past seasons in downtime.

Juni, you can get the oil at any grocery or health food store.

This is a common and great brand:

I will look for a link for you both that I think I started here awhile back...?

A google search will also give you a ton of great info on the benefits of it - internally and externally.

AG, yeah, it really can overpower dishes sometimes, but it supposed to be the most stable oil under intense heat and unlike other oils won't breakdown and become unhealthy when heated to extreme temps (i'm not explaining it right, but you probably know what i'm talking about). Yes, very healthy. Great in smoothies too.

Well, I've watched a bit more of Season 2, and now I'm less enthused. I do still enjoy seeing more interactions, but I'm now into the part where people are generally annoying. Chill Town still hasn't really taken off. I think it took four episodes just to get to their first eviction, which seems kind of long. I'm only up past the second nominations where Will probably dodged a bullet.

quote:
The producers must have seen the shock and puzzement over Judd. Amost the first 1/2 hr was devoted to why the back door. It still rang as very foolish.

I guess that's how they're going to do it now..or something. This is the second time this season that they've explained the previous episode afterward.

I'm glad to see Helen pushing for the move on Amanda and McCrae, and I'm glad to see it backfired on her. If Andy sticks to his usual M.O., this will put a target on Helen.

I couldn't believe Helen's trying to tell Amanda that Amanda is the reason everyone is still there. Even if Amanda was stupid, she'd understand that Helen was blowing smoke.

quote:
I was rooting for Kaysar and like America was a fan of Janelle too.

Everyone seemed to love Kaysar. I think he might have been a fan favorite. He was a Leo if I remember right. Janelle's a Capricorn. It's interesting watching Helen invoke Janelle when talking to Aaryn.

Yeah, I kind of wonder if they changed the format in order to accommodate the BB at Night shows.

quote:
Partly I think because of the decor of the house.

Yeah, season two's house was pre-overhaul, and it was terrible. Even the tv in the house was located, so that some people had to look behind them to try to interact with Julie.

quote:
Great in smoothies too.

Would the smoothie have to be warm? It gets solid at pretty moderate temperatures.

Wife and I are doing Weight Watchers now, and fruits and vegetables are of no detriment, so you can pretty much eat them with impunity. Smoothies are an easy way to incorporate fruits and vegetables in a quick, palatable way. (I did recently realize that mixed berries aren't the way to go. I had to spit the seeds out lest they make their way through my system in tact. Blueberries, bananas, mango, pineapple, spinach, kale seem to be low maintenance options.)

Been watching season 7 All Stars and now know Will and Boogie of Chill Town. This is a great season, those two are hilarious!!!

I no longer like Janelle and hope she loses, my gut is saying she probably won't.

I purposely didnt read the winners list AG, so I don't know who's about to win it.

Be back to reply to some other things fully later.

.....if I have to hear/watch Helen run up to someone after they win a competition and hug them and tell them how insanely brilliantly they are playing the game and act like she's completely stunned and in awe.....one more time....i swear to god.....

LOL

I'll puke.

She clearly knows how to toy with people's egos and how that is such an easy way to get them to lose sight of things and think they have the power and that she is nice.

Yes, it's at the point where the show is getting annoying. I think it would be better with more people in their late 20's and 30's {with brains), peppered with a few older people and oddballs like Chicken George.

I'm still on season 7 and getting quite a kick out of some of the people on it.

Boogie and Will are killing me at this point. Too funny. Boogie's from my home state, and reminds me of some old friends.

The show needs more people like them.

AG, the smoothie would not have to be warm. I have put liquified coconut oil in my NutriBullet and it worked fine. I'm sure it would be the same with a regular blender. If on a high speed, even adding a solid scoop would probably work out as well. Give it a shot. And best of luck to you and your wife!

I also add seeds (chia, hemp) and nuts sometimes (it has a seed and nut grinding option, that pretty much powders it), so .... the grittiness can grow on you....when you know it's good for you.

Yes, last episode I watched, I thought i was on the wrong one. Half of the show was devoted to re-plays in order to try to explain Judd's eviction.

I would have liked to have seen him win along with a couple of others that I know could have really used the money. Although when i imagined who would use the money most wisely, he made me a little nervous and I'm afraid he might have been taken advantage of in his small hick hometown by other struggling people there. He's too nice and might have been like one of those people you see on that show about people who have won the lottery and lose it all in a year. Finding all kind of people coming out of the woodwork begging for a piece of their pie.

I thought Candice could have used it wisely and done something great with it she seemed to really not want to go back to her job.

I guess at this point I'm rooting for the slacker dude - McCrae. Hopefully his showmance with Amanda doesnt screw him over.

I don't think Helen really needs it. She seems to be doing just fine in regular life. Which is another reason I don't want her to win and find her even more annoying.
