^ your sympathy is much appreciated, it really is....
but still i would impose a heavy fine on anyone who mouths platitudes such as "when one door closes", "you can't bring the past back by longing for it" and all that. It's unconstructive, counterproductive etc.
because when one door closes, no one cares whats behind the others. and if i can't bring my past back then what good is my life? thanks for telling me i can't have what i need. i wish i could tell the world how much i despise it.
and the initial question was in any case if this whole "wisdom" is true at all. my example says no. that's really all i want to know. if this lessons/growth theory is wrong why do so many people keep sticking to the paradigm?
