I suppose everyone has their problems, whether being extrovert or introverted. Use to assume extroverts had it easy. IP: Logged |

I wonder why introverts enjoy jerking off to their introversion immeasurably more than extroverts who barely remember who they are most of the time... I really doIP: Logged |

Well, hullo missy 26T.I have to say I never really thought of myself as....introverted, till I opened your link. Since I agreed w/ every gif/pic and caption, I may have to re-think on that one. great post. Once I am out, I'm OUT and run my mouth with the best of them, can talk and find common ground etc, but I do like alone time, just fine. I think it also has to do with those that can entertain themselves. I've often gone to shows/concerts by myself, and get a blank stare when I tell people I've done it...don't tell people that much anymore... ------------------ The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done. I went to the mall today.gasp, horror. I have worn my work shoes too long, they are worn out~~ and have a great deal of pain. So, after many phone calls I found a pair at the dreaded mall. On my feet for 10 hours hobbling around. Go to said mall, on a beautiful Sat afternoon, and it is PACKED. No parking, and upon entering, everyone is milling around staring like zombies, at STUFF, and each other. truly a nightmare, for this girl. But I got the shoes, hopefully the pain issue is resolved. What was wrong with all the shoe stores that you had to go to a mall? IP: Logged |

It was a Payless, and a work clog. [this will be my third pair]Online they will tell you the shoe is in stock. I called, and it wasn't, hence the search. IP: Logged |

Any introverts in here with social anxiety? Also, how do you deal with not getting anxious from other people's personalities, or extroverts?I think I absorb emotions and vibes rather easily (Cancer Rising, Pisces Sun) so am susceptible sometimes to energies which makes me avoid situations, or withdraw.

I've said the same but it's "Well, I want to see that movie, you want to see that one so we'll meet back here when they're finished?" Them = "WE MUST SIT TOGETHER!!!!!" I've not stopped complaining about this one yet though.

*raises hand* My SA isn't too bad, I can deal with people pretty easily but can't spend much time with anyone. I can only see / hang out with people for a few hours, tops. Loud / super active people kinda annoy me because they sap my energy. So I usually stick to people who are rather calm / steady in demeanor. IP: Logged |

But the fact alone that I am so thirsty for communication - is that even fitting for a true introvert? But on the other hand I can TOTALLY identify with that list.
And yes I NEED alone-time to recharge BADLY.
