The latest episode of the show i posted is up, if anyone is watching. I'm waiting for it to load.

I though Lenore's way of handling it was quite beautiful.

My original query was:

Would you stay here or online if you were dying?

The keyword in my original query is:
YOU
not me.
Thanks again folks.

lexx, your posts allowed us to include you as you used personal points reference .

Well anyhow;
I would not stay and would just go silent and vanish and not bother anyone.
Just silently slip away.
Natural death or suicide the same.
After death;
just cremate and toss wherever;
and no damn memorial service bullshite.
Whatever is cheapest and fast.
Wish there was a way to totally erase my internet presence too.
Best to just eventually totally vanish.

Mirage, and Doux.

T, take as long as you need. I'll check out the links you posted: I would be one of the sobbing ones; I'm not that good with acceptance of someone's passing.

After my cousin died, two years ago, I felt weird, because the day after she passed, I woke up feeling *great*. The day itself, I'd been in a daze. But it hit me the weekend after, really hard. With anyone/anything really close to me, I'm just awful.

Lexx, I would hate for you to feel you had to disappear, but if you wanted to, that would be different.

I'm really not sure what I would do. I'm not good with attention, positive or negative. A part of me has wanted to die, and another part seems to want to live. I might be crushed if I was told that I was dying. I thought my body was turning on itself, and killing me anyway, what with the constant vomiting (I've managed to ease it somewhat, but it still happens, sometimes all day and night, just as it was before).

Sorry you have to deal with that too.
I suppose like me;
the doctors have no idea why the constant vomiting?
I have had that for decades, and nausea.
No fun.

Since none of us are dying, let us give thanks for the little things we take for granted each day .

This touch of a new day to start the first day of the rest of your life.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm sorry to hear that, Lexx.

I couldn't afford to go to the doctor. It's been a guessing game. I had to help a family member off the floor last night, and then mentioned that I felt sick - she apologized for having me bending over, helping her up, but I told her that I'm used to it now.

Aside from having to rush off quickly, to relieve the feeling, I hate that it's messed with my moods/my brain. I've been reading more and more about the gut being troubled, and depression/mood disorders. Although, it has nothing to do with people just deciding to be nasty, or including me in things I never wanted a part of.

I'm actually grateful for something horrible that happened the other night. It lifted a weight off my shoulders, and confirmed something I'd felt for a few months.

I still feel wary being here, but I'm grateful for the people I got to know through this place.

Sorry, had to. It was my first thought to this thread, but i didnt want to say it and risk sounding like some kind of morbid negative Nancy. Because i don't mean it that way anyway, but people take things the wrong way all the time especially here.

It brought to mind a lyric from one of my favorite songs too:

"he not busy being born is busy dying"

Bob Dylan
It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding"

teasel, hugs.

It's especially hard to help an ailing family member when you are sick yourself with no one to pick you up when you are down.

I've heard all illnesses start in the gut too. Life can be hard to stomach and that can eventually show up physically as well. A few months ago i was getting violently ill like that and couldnt keep anything down. It still happens but not like it was a few months ago every day. Not fun.

I'm grateful for having the opportunity to talk to all of you, share ideas and show & get some lovin' & support.
I've made some wonderful friends here, and think of you as an extraordinary family.

I've been enjoying hearing the regular homeless people going by my window, who normally are pretty unhappy & yelling or fighting instead wishing people a happy Thanksgiving that pass by. A local place is serving up meals, so i think full bellies and good cheer have changed their moods.....for today.
