"didnt elena say, that damon kind of loves bonnie....?"
Yes, she did.

"it was pluto reaching out to you
do you have any pluto/8th?"
Yes, and well, Ian`s chart contributed to the triggering I suppose.

I have [Pluto on 9 Libra conj TRANSYLVANIA on 7 Libra conj. MC on 5 Libra] square Venus on 6 Cap.

His chart cointains an exact conjunction of TRANSYLVANIA and BLACK MOON on 9 Cancer, squaring his Moon on 6 Aries.

Together they form a Grand cross of Venus, Pluto, Transylvania, Black Moon and Moon, with his Moon falling right onto my IC.

The timing was sublime, too. This year I was having pr ASC on 6 Capricorn EXACTLY on my natal Venus, and Tr Pluto was on 5 Cap.
So you can imagine how it felt... lol

".as if minorities are aliens instead of humans who dont eat just like everybody else...lol"
Yes, exactly. Just shows what a long way is still in front of us.

"the show needs new ideas, more character development"
Yes, and thy already have potentially good-great characters, they just have to give them something to do!

"they really want the love triangle and the toxic relationship between damon and elena, of course, this might have to do with the youthful naivete and an override of teenage angst of some viewers..."
Yes, could be.

I am maybe too old. I remember how much my female pupils loved Edward from Twilight, and thought it ws so cute and protective when he locked her up, when he was out hunting or whatever he was doing. He locked her up! And the girls thought it was cute, protective, a sign of true love, when all I could really see was a potentially dangerous abusive relationship functioning as a role model for teenagers to grow into.
What kind of message does that give? It is okay to lock someone else up, if I find it fit and tell them it happens out of love?

wow....cool.
so, do you see ian having a crush on kat?
because based on their interactions...he is def. salivating over her

apparently, plec had planned the finale over a year ago...
color me surprised

i dont know what to think of this....
it makes me wonder a lot about evolutionary biology and the women's movement
the fact that even in modern times, some girls and women idealize relationships such as this...i dont know what it means
sometimes it makes me question and have a deprecating humour about women's movement and society...like ok, women have rights
but if some still place relationships a la delena on a pedestal...
it seems that internally and psychologically, there hasnt been that much of an advancement?

"so, do you see ian having a crush on kat?"
I donīt know. I haven`t seen them interact in real life enough to form a conclusion.
It seems very clear though that he likes her a lot.
But then again he seems to like women. Period.
He is still gushing over this scene he did in 1st season with the actress who played Vicki for example.
So probably there is quite a bit room in his heart for fond memories and liking people.

"it seems that internally and psychologically, there hasnt been that much of an advancement?"
Yes, sometimes it seems so. Though maybe the gap is just widening, because I know enough women (but maybe that is really the difference if you are a girl or a woman with a bit more life experience), who definitely would run the other way if someone like Damon came along. No matter how handsome, charming or witty he might be. lol

you know what else?
as much as it's interesting to follow the couples's drama in tvd...
i have to say that the show has become too much about ships too..
it is sad that...and here it comes, my self-deprecating humour about women's issues...that after kevin williamson left, plec and dries (both women) took over, and the series became way too much about love interests, and dumbed down,....and who gets who...
i think this is hurting the show, like, what happened with the brotherly bond?

I agree with you. i did not even know williamson left, but I noticed that at a certain point I seemed to lose interest in the show.
Maybe it has to do with it.

To me, in a way, the show ended with the 2nd season finale. It is so strange, but it just felt like a real finale.
I did still like 3rd season, but the feeling was so different.

And NOW?
It starts reminding me of a soapopera like "bold and beautiful", just with the paranormal twist.
