THOSE MANNING the Joan Rivers death watch can stand down: The acid-tongued, 81-year-old comedy icon appears to be on the mend.According to her daughter, Melissa, Rivers, who suffered cardiac arrest last week during a procedure on her vocal cords, has improved enough to be moved out of the intensive care unit at Manhattan's Mount Sinai Hospital. "My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room [and is] being kept comfortable," Melissa said in a statement. "Thank you for your continued support." Despite the ostensibly good news, the younger Rivers did not say whether her mom remained on life support. ------------------

Her death, or what led to it, was so strange; some weird fluke. I guess she would've never recovered in any way, hence her daughters decision to stop the life support? ( as per a will or agreement of some sort? ) It's just so bizarre to me, she thinks she's going in for some routine boring procedure and then that's that.I wanna see if Meryl shows up at her funeral as requested.
