Meghan Trainor - Like I'm Going To Lose You

I found myself dreaming
In silver and gold
Like a scene from a movie
That every broken heart knows

We were walking on moonlight
And you pulled me close
Split second and you disappeared
And then I was all alone

I woke up in tears
With you by my side
A breath of relief
And I realized
No, we're not promised tomorrow

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
And I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye
Wherever we're standing
I won't take you for granted
'Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you

In the blink of an eye
Just a whisper of smoke
You could lose everything
The truth is you never know

So I'll kiss you longer baby
Any chance that I get
I'll make the most of the minutes
And love with no regrets

Let's take our time to say what we want
Here's what we got before it's all gone
'Cause no, we're not promised tomorrow

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye
Wherever we're standing
I won't take you for granted
'Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you

I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye
Wherever we're standing
I won't take you for granted
'Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you
I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you

^ Perfectly awesome song and video.

I don't know what song I'd take. Maybe a mantra or chanting, so I could meditate with that and not feel alone.

If I took Elvis, it would be Love Me Tender or Blue Christmas.

I would take Hotline Bling because it is IRONIC

"YOU USED TO CALL ME ON YOUR CELL PHONE
"

And now you can't! Choo, where you think you at? Las Vegas.!??

This is the point I'm making it just makes the situation somber and funny in a sick way

Juni-bells,

"I'm so lonely I could cry" is a line from Elvis' classic hit Heartbreak Hotel!

You said you'd take that song...? Or maybe I misunderstood.

Not sure what Elvis song I would take, different songs are for different moods...one song could never suffice...except maybe American Trilogy which is three songs in one.

Pre dating Elvis, Hank Williams Sr wrote and recorded
I`m so lonesome I could cry. Elvis admired him very much and (many assume) his Heartbreak Hotel line was a tribute to Hank and the song.

And yes I would take the saddest honky tonk song in the world with me . An Aquarian needs her peeps and furfaces to adore and laugh with!

^^ Ohhh I get it now!

Every time I cross paths with this thread I'm thinking of a different "all time favorite song" and today it's...

You Can Call Me Al

Must be played VERY loud. And danced to!
