Teasel.. Wow. Stomach problems are not fun.
Maybe it's a 6th House Sun thing?? LOLI had seen that you are including a lot more Tumeric in your diet for the health-effects some promote. When I had increased the Tumeric in my own diet, I found out that it was making me feel sick. You might want to experiment and isolate any effect it's having in your body.
The other thing?
Have you ever tried 'the purple pill'
(Nexium sustained-release -- there's a generic for it now that starts with 'eso'.. esomeprazole? sustained-release). Ask your doctor if this okay for you (or pharmacist).
I had tried ALL the various acid-pump reducers and NOTHING worked on me 'until' the purple pill came along.
My stomach had been a WRECK. I mean, lettuce felt like razor-blades inside.
After around 4 to 6 mos on the purple, I started improving. (Now I can eat salad again.)
Yeah.. It might be wise to watch out about drinking too much alcohol. That can really fire-up any kind of raw-stomach condition.
I enjoy an occasional white-wine with dinner. But when I have it too often, that 'burn' starts a comeback. .. heh. All things in moderation?
The major thing (that I was very surprised about) was squeeze mustard (contains turmeric). (eg. on hamburgers or hot dogs). Mustard brought the burn back. Ketchup is fine!! (I was restricting that for a while.)
(Ginger can burn too-- I know some people use it for stomachs. .. And careful of spicy-hot Mexican spices/condiments. Just pay attention to your body and their effects, IF they affect you.)
Watch out for vinegars (use sparingly), and lemon juice.
Watch about eating too many raw tomatoes.
I used to adore eating tomato sandwiches, from tomatoes I'd raised. .. nope.
Pay attention to the various foods. Acids. You want that inflammation to get in-check, so you can eat.
Stay away from any NSAIDS!!!, and aspirin. (use tielenal instead)
Are you're drinking some of the specialty bean brewed coffees? .. some of those are HIGH acid.
Drinking whole milk (not reduced, no skim) during the day was helpful to me. (Not buttermilk). The 'fat' in the whole milk helps coat the lining of the stomach. The reduced-fat milks after a while can almost seem to raise acids.
Some prescription medications will also burn. Again, become aware of the various effects of foods you eat (no citrus!), be careful of Vit C (that can burn too).
Start slow. Pay attention.
If purple pill is good for you, try that.
And be patient..
uhhh. *try not to stress??*
.. haha. .. politics??? argh.
Love ya.
