I just need something to take the edge off, not to sip or nurse for hours. Not much of a drinker, though I recall with fondness Southern Comfort from my youth. IP: Logged |

This is one you might try. I enjoyed this decades ago. It's a liqueur, and very tasty. Has the potential to take more than a little of that edge off! Jägermeister "Jägermeister’s ingredients include 56 herbs, fruits, roots, and spices, including citrus peel, licorice, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger, juniper berries, and ginseng." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A4germeister Many liqueurs are good following a meal. Helps digestion. Light a candle. Get yourself a fancy little glass to hold these. Adds to the ambience. Create a relaxing space for yourself... I hope you'll find a good way to relax yourself, Starr. Jägermeister. I've never heard of it, but it sounds nice. I'll look for it on Wednesday afternoon when I purchase food for Thanks Giving. Thank you!IP: Logged |

It is medicinal tasting. Kinda like an expensive licorice cough medicine. If you can get past the smell, you might like it tho ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

Horseradish??? Of course, Absolut!ly... (topic) How to make an Absolut Bloody Mary Cocktail (Recipe) [1:40] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdgMK6N-rqQ I used to love a Bloody Mary... but now, my stomach can't tolerate it. I tend towards 'red stomach' and have to work against getting ulcers. Sometimes I WISH I could do alcohol... to calm my body down. haha... On the night Trump was elected, I actually went out and bought tiny bottles of vodka... I was in SOOO much shock!! ROFLMAO. Nothing else (relaxation exercises, meditation, etc) was going to help me 'deal' with the impact of that US Election! After that, I had to do an 'ulcer diet' for a while!!! LOL. {{My Body!!!! How she betrays me!!!!}} hahahahaha There'd be Lots of Vitamins in that drink though? Don't you think? IP: Logged |

I used to drink rum and coke. I used Bacardi rum or Captain Morgan. I'm also a fan of Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey. IP: Logged |

I hardly ever drink. I used to like a type of rum mixed with something, but now I just like a margarita. The only trouble is, my stomach doesn't. I also have trouble with them if I eat. So I don't get them often. IP: Logged |
