There is no help to be be found..I've called the Governor..the mayor... Days of being on the phone.. I've got my mom, 77 years old in the car, along with my sister, and tomorrow, my nephew..because when it comes right down to it, many are unwilling to help.. We've spent our money on hotels..gas..food... And now we have a week before we have money again.. One thing happens after another to set us back..car breaking down..someone needing help... And now...I'm a little angry.. Already cried, when I took a walk around the lake.. My mom and nephew are at high risk..using public bathrooms All shelters are full with long waiting lists..really want a shower.. Basically staying in the walmart parking lot... Nothing is being done for the homeless..our government really doesn't care about the homeless.. That's why no else can get in the shelters.. We're left out here to be exposed... They're doing a good job... Fentanyl to kill the drug addicts.. And this, for the poor and the elderly... Do you feel comfortable saying what state your in? I've had several family members who've been homeless in; NJ, CA, NY, and FL. They all found resources so please don't lose heart! Ballerina- do you have a FB? Perhaps you or a family member could set up a Go Fund Me to help get you guys a room for awhile until something else comes together. IP: Logged

I don't have a bank account.. We're almost out of gas.. Their website mentions emergency housing and unlike the other places I've looked at, they're open today. Every day, 24 hours. Ph. 603 436 2218 If you simply cannot go on, call the police. They have to respond. They may be able to link you to resources that you don't know about. This is so awful. I'm so sorry. My heart aches for you and your family 😭 IP: Logged

Went to Police Dept last night there's nothing they can do... I was in the shelter for 6 months last year..I have called every resource there is... We are stuck at Walmart..no gas, Almost out of crap from food pantry and we get no money til this friday... My cousin is running for a public office there... she may have some connections or ideas to help you out. Have you considered contacting a media source? I know there are many people in the US thinking and wondering about how the pandemic is going to effect the homeless population. You could be the one to address this and potentially trigger some sort of action. There are people in the world willing to help and donate funds but just don't know who to help and how to go about it. I'm going to pray about your situation because that's all I can do these days. I did go to the media, they wanted nothing to do with the truth of the matter..I got the mayor's help to get some things in order in our shelter, while she was running for office, after she won again, I was ignored...I never got a reply from our Governor... We can still go for walks, and dad still has to work, but the idea of law enforcement dealing with this, makes me nervous. You can only use the food side. Then earlier today there were two military tanks spotted sitting on each side of the town, one town over from me. It's more of a rural community and I thought it was odd they would be there. A family member told me this, he saw the tanks himself and was a bit freaked out. I have a feeling of unease. I guess everyone does. But I had a dream (its posted in the dream forum) before this all happened and it wasn't a good dream. I think everyone should be prepared. No need to hoard, but definitely get whatever you think you'll want, in case it's difficult to get out and about. I'm hoping to get a big bag of dirt too. And I want to get some batteries. Gave me 10 dollars..I ran into her in the Walmart restroom... Been on the phone all morning, just sitting in the parking lot..waiting on return calls.. We're expecting snow today! Shiver me timbers! Darn New England weather, nuts! My heart aches for my mom and sister..this is not a good situation for them... The only thing I haven't tried is reaching out to the President We're out of gas, sitting in Walmart's parking lot..we have money coming on Friday... It's sunny and warming up... Only 3 more days...
