Hahaha, I knew AlterNut couldn't get anything right.

Not only did Sarah Palin say nothing about birds taking one for the team; not only did Sarah Palin say nothing about drilling through Caribou; she quoted Ann Coulter..and attributed to Coulter the quote "Our enemies have us in a vise grip...sorry caribou, you're going to have to take one for the team".

It always pays to check every assertion from every nutty leftist source. They don't give a flying flip if what they say is the truth or not.

There are more real environmentalists in Alaska than anywhere else and they appreciate the pristine water, air and landscape.

There's no way in hell Sarah Palin would make a comment suggesting it's OK to kill Caribou or birds in the quest for oil and natural gas.

AlterNut is the proper name for this loony tunes bunch.

so please explain how caribou "taking one for the team" does not indicate willingness to sacrifice their habitat? which is not the same as the phrasing suggested, but does carry the same impact? and if you use someone else's phrase, credit given or not, you are approving the sentiment, aren't you? i don't even see how you are presenting a rebuttal there ..(or even how you might think you are)?

That was not a Sarah Palin quote.

That was an Ann Coulter quote.

Btw, the Caribou are doing just fine.

if you use someone else's phrase, credit given or not, you are approving the sentiment,

in other words tough noogies she didn't think it up herself - the sentiment is identical to the parodic rewrite on alternet. still no transcript available on that speech and no half hour to watch the whole video, which is untrustworthy as evidence anyway, especially on youtube.

i have a novel idea why doesn't she campaign on repealing the income tax, that other law that was truly shoved down the people's throats and is certainly against their will? do you think wilson campaigned on installing income tax?

You mean like you katatonic? You, who use Socialist talking points taken from far left loony-tunes leftist sites to bolster your arguments?

Sarah Palin didn't say a word about endorsing Ann Coulter's sentiment...the caribou will have to take one for the team.

In fact, Palin stressed oil and natural gas exploration, extraction and transportation should be done and is being done in Alaska in an environmentally safe and sound way.

The main point is that AlterNut either lied or is so brain dead they couldn't get what Palin said right...or both and it's likely BOTH.

You mean like you katatonic?" sorry, i am not running for president on the idiot platform. if alternet is an idiot leftist that is news to me. i just put it out here, i am not trying to undermine the government. and i am not ignorant of ecology and the effect man has on caribou's environment.

still wondering...how many times did you watch this - since there is no transcript available online, how do you know by heart what she said? and if you don't put it in context you might as well be lying yourself.

if i say "to quote so&so, the sky will be purple when we're done with our campaign" that is endorsing the idea within the quote. you have given me no reason to disbelieve that alternet was using their own interpretation to transmit the MEANING of what she was saying, since caribou"taking one for the team" means their either losing their home habitat or their lives for the good of the "whole"...in other words, drilling ending their current protected status.

perhaps alternet only saw the speech once before writing their piece. how many times did you see it? can i trust your memory of what was said?? you have not provided any source yet!! at which point in the speech was this quote trotted out? it has a context as well, right??

like i've said, jwhop, you're entitled to your opinions. carry on but don't expect me to believe you when you are sticking up for your little hottie.

I know what Sarah Palin said because I watched her speech live when she was giving it.

I also know what Palin said because I used the provided link and watched her whole speech again to find the part where she was talking about energy policy.

Palin never said a word about "drilling through caribou...as AlterNut reported.

Palin never said a word about "the birds will have to take one for the team"...as AlterNut reported.

When Louis Black is in top comedic form few can match him.

I don't remember any wolf kills to be honest. There was the waterboarding of Katie Couric. There was shooting a deer, shooting a rabbit, and shooting a penguin. There was the pitbull with lipstick. There was a dude tied up under the desk.

I just went back, and I still don't see any wolves.

Busting Halliburton for their part in the bP oil spill is like.....

Prosecuting Al Capone for tax evasion.

But we will take it.

In book stores everywhere....one week after the midterm elections-<

Better than a memoir! It is his version of the Letterman top 10.

I am breathless with anticipation. Casper Wienberger would make a fine ghostwriter.

Oh, it was a whole new experience when I got to hear the sound. I kept clicking on the scales earlier, and nothing would happen. Still didn't see or hear any wolves, though. My Libra roommate was a little mortified by the animal killings.

and you really need to check Louis Black on the Stewart show

Photo of Glenn Beck crying all the way to the bank as he endorses DESPONDEX, the first drug to make people sad, because "when your President is a socialist liberal fascist queer-loving nazi who wants to communize the country, it would be a sin to smile."

X and Dead Presidents..and soon to be X Presidents.

Karma will get you every time

LETTER FROM THE BOSS.....

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change, I gave it to them.

I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.
