the london school of economics has done a comparative study of the average intelligence of americans by political preference.

guess which group came out with clearly higher IQs on average?? and why?

I saw this. Six points on a scale well known for accuracy problems isn't really noteworthy. (Even if a large difference was noted in any fashion I couldn't help but wonder if it said more about those conducting the study than it said about society.)

good lord did you think i was serious?? quite apart from all the incredibly brilliant conservatives i know and have known, i consider it a ridiculous study ... but we lack levity on this page sometimes, don't we??

Lots of people are acting like this study is significant. So yeah, I thought you were serious.

not to worry dervish, but i do think i have made it more than clear that i don't think "conservative" is synonymous with stupid. i learned that from a friend's father long ago, a brilliant neurosurgeon from the south who foresaw the interference insurance companies would cause in his practice...amongst other things. my father and he debated regularly the pros and cons of "progress" in politics...

and the silly "dude" was supposed to emphasize the silliness of the whole thing!!
