Well, first of all, we all do wrong. Anyone who has lived a life of Newt's years has made mistakes. That is a given. One must own them and try to leave them behind and go forward. I think he IS. I think he is sincere.

I think he is honest. He stands for Israel, which is close to the top for me. If the US disses Israel, it will fall. God will not allow the US to diss Israel and thrive. I know people will not like to hear this, but it is true.(I will bless those that bless thee, curse those that curse thee from the book of Genesis. It is a Law and is immutable)

Even if you do not love Israel, it is the ONLY democracy in the region. When things go bad there, Israel is the only one we can count on to be like us and WITH us.

Iran' s nuclear issue is only one of many that every person in the world, except those that want us dead, are glad Israel is there. Then, when Israel is not needed, people go back to wanting to throw her under the bus. I don't want to get in a situation where I am fighting about this, as I did a few years. If anyone cares what I have to say, I can link my old thread. I am just answering of why I am pro Newt. That is only one reason, but an essential one, for me. The other ones is that he is a conservative. Only a conservative will get us out of this mess. If not, we will go further down in it. If we go further down in to it, we will be done as a world power, imo.

Most often politics and religion rub hands and when it does, it becomes a wall to seperate two opposed people from conversing.
Let us avoid that

I admire your stance for your Faith, Israel , and Newt.

Naturally I believe Newt would throw a country, a wife and the people under a bus if the $$ and ego stroke was powerful enough.

Indeed people change and most times thats good enough for me to let them show their stuff but!! In Newts case, his ethics lapses are too great a breach to trust him as the President of our country.

It is my childrens and grandchildrens country too and I desire it`s leader to Teach by example not the "do as I say not as I do" method.

perhaps both of these candidates have fallen for the propaganda that it was black people who elected obama...despite the fact that the black population is about 12% of the whole which makes their vote marginal, even if every single one voted for one candidate.
