Do populist polls even matter? They hardly reflect the electoral college.

YTA, I know you have these polls...of "registered voters" figured out.

And also the way polls can be and ARE manipulated by "weighting" and "sampling" factors.

And, you are right. The only poll which really matters will be taken on November 6th, 2012.

Ami, of course O'Bomber is going to try to steal the election. He and his sycophant press are already hard at work trying to convince Republicans and Independents it's already over...so just stay home on November 6th. But, we know about those rigged polls.

Yeah, the NY Treason Times ran one of those over-sample demoscat polls in conjunction with CBS...a 6% over-sample to be exact. But hey, who's counting?

I didn't post a NYT poll. I posted from the 538 blog, which was created by the Moneyball guy. Formerly, his blog was independent. Only now is it part of the NYT's offerings.

Nate Silver, the statistician behind the blog, correctly predicted how 49 of 50 states went last election with Indiana being the surprise won by Obama by 1%.

It will not guarantee a victory if Obama scrapes through in the swing states.

True. It's an electoral battle, not a popular vote one.
