First, O'Bomber IS an idiot.

Second, the US Congress gave authority to Bush to attack terrorists..al Qaeda who used Afghanistan as a base of operations to attack the US on 9/11.

Third, the US Congress gave authority to Bush to remove Saddam Hussein..after 12 years of defying the UN and ignoring his responsibilities under the "cease-fire" agreement he signed.

So, has Assad attacked the United States? NO

Has Assad invaded another country...an ally of the US? NO

The only reason we're even having this discussion is because O'Bomber is a blabbermouth who drew a line in the sand with Assad. It was OK with O'Bomber for Assad to kill 100,000+ Syrian citizens with conventional weapons but killing 10% of that number with chemical weapons was..over the line.
