Cat, I read an intersting article of groups of Africans claiming to be Jewish or descended from a Jewish Prophet . DNA results were rather fascinating and I will leave the link.
Perhaps the one drop rule to to help clarify so many claims and give a precise ruling?

I find it rather sinister that they are now excluding children of CONVERTED jews. More and more the emphasis is on making a religion into a bloodline. Shades of David Icke ...Meanwhile DNA research on African Americans has found that the vast majority of them are now likely to be about 35% white, some more obviously, some less, but just as Israel tries to tighten up the bloodline rules, it is becoming more obvious that those lines are PERMANENTLY blurred except, perhaps among isolated populations and the top .001% families who do their best to keep it contained.
