Why do you keep talking about treaties? Which, at most, the Senate ratifies, but has no authority to negotiate?

Because O'Bomber is attempting to implement what is in reality a TREATY by executive orders instead of seeking ratification by the US Senate.

It's just another aspect of O'Bomber's lawlessness.

Are you really that stubborn? Believe Fox news if you want darling . But this is not a matter between the US and Iran, but several world powers and Iran. An executive order is not relevant in the "5+1" countries involved in this agreement.

I don't give a rat's ass what Fox News says or doesn't say.

I can read and that's all that's necessary to know O'Bomber's crap sandwich with Iran is in fact a Treaty..by another name.

The US Senate needs to ratify O'Bomber's gift of nuclear weapons to Iran...but that's not going to happen so O'Bomber thinks he can negotiate, authorize and then sign his own Treaty. Not happening.

Must I be specific in telling you where you can stuff the idiot far left loons at daily kos. There's not one moron there who could find their own ass so no one cares what they think about anything.

No president who negotiates with another nation to do anything or refrain from doing something has the authority to bypass Congress and unilaterally authorize and sign into law their negotiated agreement.

What the hell is wrong with leftist twits...aside from the fact they're incapable of reading with comprehension?

O'Bomber is the most lawless prez ever to infest the White House. His calculation is that by the time his power grab is heard by federal courts, he'll be long out of office.

You leftist, who cheer every lawless act of the Marxist Messiah should find yourselves another country to live in. America is never going to be the Socialist Banana Republic you crave.

You are missing the point entirely and making me doubt your assertion that you can read. It doesn't matter whether Congress has the right of ratification at this point. They do not have the right of NEGOTIATION and it is seditious to go directly - and globally - behind/around the negotiators back to the "enemy" and attempt to undermine the negotiations. Time for that when there is a deal to ratify or not. It is also counterproductive to bringing an agreement from Iran to be monitored. It is showing the world that the Senate doesnt understand its job and will undermine the Commander In Chief and indeed prevent America doing anything effective in the world.

Maybe you think its justified by the "mandate" of 15% of the population but the President had more votes and he is our elected president. Way to announce that America has no power. Not Obama, but America has been attacked from within the Capitol.

I doubt you will be able to decipher that, sorry, five catchy words wouldn't suffice. They have announced that we ARE a banana republic, socialist or not. Half are claiming they didn't even really read it (and no excuse about it being too long and complicated, they just signed it on their way out the door)

The Kos link was to this poll by CNN/ORC as you might have realized if your mind weren't so firmly shut. The majority of crossparty responses disagree with you. .but hey, life is too short to check your prejudices occasionally for errors, innit !

Writing an open letter...not a mailed letter, informing the terrorist leaders of Iran that Congress must ratify any agreement with Iran IS NOT NEGOTIATING.

Informing Iran that the Marxist Messiah doesn't have the constitutional authority to unilaterally enter into treaties with foreign powers IS NOT NEGOTIATING.

Now, if you would like me to post instances where far left loon demoscat congressional members and leftist loon individuals DID NEGOTIATE WITH FOREIGN POWERS...INCLUDING ENEMIES OF THE UNITED STATES, I'LL DO SO.

daily kos remains what it's always been. A collection of far left loons who couldn't find their own as$es. But, its entirely fitting you would attempt to fluff up their credentials.
