The sad truth is that the news coverage has been significantly less for this attack than it was for other attacks that the world has endured recently. I didn't hear anything about it on the news tonight, but they were replaying the story about the priest that was killed, and how outraged the Pope was. It seems kind of odd that no one seems to be outraged about this.

The cause of that remains to be known. My personal opinion is that we're more of an ableist society than we'd like to believe. But that's a theory for another thread.

I would add to the list geopolitic history back to 19th century to our days.. and with some digging into intelligence agencies and their "clean" records..

Divide and conquer. so old, and it is amazing how people fall for it. those who want to manipulate people always find a scapegoat.

in hitler nazi germany: the jews, the comunists
now: the muslin

it is the same since Roman times..

people who dont study history is condemned to repeated. i am just amazed how easy is to manipulate people into hatred.. how sad. I hope the common sense reign...

It will be cause for celebration when US military personal put bullets in the heads of ISIS leaders, their bankers and government officials who fund them and their Internet recruiters who recruit for them online.

jwhop,

calling someone's comment "asinine" simply because they have shown compassion for the dead is an insult and completely unnecessary.

And it's trifling with the forum rules, unless you are somehow above respect for others.

Perhaps you should learn to read with comprehension. Try it, you might like it.

"I understand you. I won't be joining you in your celebrations........."

Celebrating the murders of innocent citizens..anywhere, by murderous proponents of the Religion of Peace is not my cup of tea.

Oh boy, aren't you a handful of agitation.

Anyway, cherry-picking from someone's comment hardly makes a good argument.
It was being pointed out to you that instead of having compassion for those who are harmed by divisive actions, you use them to further your preferred agenda of MORE divisions. Yes, I have read your posts.

You were insulting needlessly, as you are to me. End of.

No need to put yourself out on my account.

When considering "terrorism", I found part 2 of Zeitgeist most thought-provoking.

It was quite obvious, at 19 years old when I saw the controlled demolition of the twin towers on the news that it was, well, controlled demolition.

One of the many supposed acts of the big bad "terrorists".
Indeed there are terrorists at work, right there in your government.

America needs war, remember? Don't you have a very healthy arms industry?

The enemy jwhop, is in your living-room.

You are on the distraction wagon thinking the "evil" is from other countries. It has been a big charade from the start, right back at WW1.

You mentioned the bankers. They are the only ones who are profiting and controlling here. They are the real terrorists, and the governments that peddle their agendas to keep the public distracted with politics and false foreign enemies.

It's as old as civilisation: divide and conquer.

Create an enemy and then offer a solution.

They want us to be fighting, that is why we must stop feeding the violence, it is playing right into the hands of the real puppetmasters.

But this is just my opinion, sure you can tell me where to shove it, whatever.

One thing you cannot deny is that the media has been poisoning minds since its original inception as propaganda device.
You want to tell me how it is now somehow innocent news and NOT a propaganda device?

Your entire belief system appears to be build on the foundation of an information source that was developed with the purposes of brain-washing and controlling nations in order to wreak havoc on other nations.

That kind of means their hand is up your ***. And really, we have little to say to each other until you realise that.

Give me a shout when the penny has dropped.

In the meantime, you have no right standing in the way of those attempting to solve the problem. At least try to be civil and keep your insults to yourself, it merely shows your lack of true argument.

I have a dear friend that is teaching me how to bow hunt. He's a self professed redneck. I love him.

The other day, we were "out back" with two other guys. I had to hide my shock when I had to explain first the French and Indian War and then the Revolutionary War!

Many Americans do not own a copy of The Declaration of Independence , or the Constitution, or know who James Otis, Patrick Henry, Richard Henry Lee, Noah Webster are. They don't study addresses or the writings of the founding fathers. They don't know the points upon which Washington, Adams, and Jefferson differed. edit: I bet a bunch of LL members know this stuff and much much more, but what's the point of that thought? You all know your interests probably lead you away from the mainstream just a bit.

My friend is one of my closest friends. He is a person who deals with who you are. He's not afraid to be the judge himself. He is confident enough not to have to take someone else's word for it. He is also a survival genius. I learn a lot from him. He always tells me, before "they" come for you, they're going to have to get through us. He fancies himself a hero

I love him dearly. What worries me is, if you listen to people tell you what they know of the world, politics, history, financial history, geo-political history, it becomes evident that there are a lot of Americans like him. I worry the majority of Americans are ill equipped to actually defend American rights.

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history" -Orwell

And the truth is it's the same for Easterners too. Knowledge is power. My brother thinks every American needs to go to law school. He thinks American rights are that important to defend that Law should not be a practice but the culture and we should all be scholars.

I live right in the heart of redneck America. Many are very educated. Three of the top football colleges are close by: UGA, Bama, and Auburn.
