And not so shocking (the part I'm quoting): http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/exit-polls-what-do-voters-want-230935 quote: Eighty-five percent of voters say they “just want it to be over,” while 72 percent are “anxious” and 71 percent are “nervous.”A smaller majority of voters describe themselves as “angry” (53 percent), and half are “sad.” Though a smaller percentage, 39 percent, go as far as to call themselves “depressed.” Independents (47 percent) are more depressed than Democrats (36 percent) or Republicans (37 percent). Similarly, 60 percent of independents say they are angry, compared to 50 percent of Democrats and 53 percent of Republicans. Fewer than three-in-10 voters describe themselves as “proud” (29 percent) or “happy” (25 percent) about the election.
'Course that won't stop whoever wins with treating the election as an eager mandate by the People, the vast majority at that no matter how close it was. I talked to older voters who ranged from their 40s to 70s, and they all consider what electioneering has become to be sad, shameful, and worse. That's not just how campaigns work and the "choices" we're given, but even how the people in general have become over it. It was such a gradual slide into the muck our nation is in today, each POTUS race worse than the one before it (that's voters as well as politicians and propagandists), that they wonder if it could get any worse. They wonder that every year (as I was this election) but keep in mind that so far, every single time, the answer is yes. IP: Logged |

Just call me Swami Randall. quote: Originally posted by Randall: Trump will win Ohio, along with Florida and North Carolina, and he will be our next President. Trump will also win a couple of surprise states. The pendulum will swing just like it always has in modern history after 8 years of one-party dominance in the white house.

The Dems are in shambles. If they are to survive as a party, they need to uproot their party's deep corruption and realize that the people are fed up.IP: Logged |

So does your party. We wouldn't be here without them screwing up so badly. IP: Logged |

We wouldn't be here without Obama doubling the debt. I could go on, but it would fall on deaf ears. IP: Logged |

So, the polls were wrong....deliberately wrong. Polling organizations and pundits who make their living calling percentages on American elections have egg all over their lying little faces. They destroyed their credibility trying to put their thumbs on the election scale for Hillary The Corrupt.Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch. IP: Logged |
