It seemed pretty clear things were heading in this direction.

He`s an idiot and representive of the gop`s new "inner circle" *Hint* Bannon....

quote:
The comment ignited outrage. Adamini’s comments are “sickening, inhuman, and indefensible,” Brandon Dillon, chair of the Michigan Democratic Party, said in a statement. “There is no ambiguity or alternative interpretation. To call for ‘another Kent State’ and declare that ‘one bullet stops a lot of thuggery’ is to clearly and openly advocate for the murder of unarmed college students, simply because they don’t share his beliefs or point of view.” Dillon called for Adamini to apologize and resign from the GOP.

Lets see how the, ahem, GOP supporters defend this piece of work.

Comparing this one individual to Trump's inner circle is absurd. He did retract the statement. It is interesting that the article mentions he is referring to those who don't share his beliefs or point of view, when in fact, it's the protesters who were trying to prevent a speaker from exercising his free speech, because they disagreed with it. No, this opinion doesn't reflect those of the GOP. To claim it does is just pure fantasy and is dishonest. Trump has actually been supportive of protests. Riots are not lawful protests. Riots should be dealt with harshly, but not with deadly force. Unarmed college students? They may not have had firearms, but they were hardly unarmed. They had bats, Molotov cocktails, and used steel barriers as battering rams to smash college windows and then start fires in the buildings. They also sprayed tear gas on other students who didn't share their beliefs and point of view and then attacked them. The police would have been well within the rule of law to meet their force to effectuate arrests, especially if they resisted arrest.

“What I was trying to get across, apparently very poorly, is that the violence at the college campus in Berkeley was reminiscent of the violence on college campuses in the ’60s,” said Adamini, who hosts a local radio program, “In the Right Mind,” on WDMJ/WIAN. “I fear that if we cannot get a handle on the violence, we might see the same type of tragic end,” he told The Mining Journal.

“I was not calling for violence against the protesters. I was calling for a stop to the violence by the protesters.”

I emailed you last night about a guy issuing death threats to several of us and you didn't ban him and he's at it again.

His list just gets longer and longer...the people he's wishing death upon.

Address this please?

absolutely not what he said. His backtracking don`t work for me.
Who else would a "bullet" be for?? To shoot the signs or even moltov cocktails???

ONLY one death does not indicate "rubber bullets"

Thank you, Juni. The guy was really out of line, calling for college students to be murdered to keep everyone else in line - and then he went on to bait people, once he'd deleted that one.

Why can't you say those rioters at Berkeley were out of line, Teasel? Juni was out of line saying that this guy is representive of Trump's inner circle. And wasn't Madonna out of line for saying she "thought an awful lot lately about blowing up the white house"? Sometimes people say things to express a point. But I see it's okay for the left to use hyperbole but not the right.

I've said before, that violence isn't the answer. If I say what I really want to say right now, it won't be polite, so I'm censoring myself.

Sorry seen from outside, i hardly imagine madona able to blow up the whit house, however this guy seems pretty official, that would be more scary if he was talking about ruling through violence, but I don't know him, so I go out of the conversation

Just a quick idea for why I give my opinion though, it's because dangerous powers can not control every partisans, that is why they are scary movements, they free the resentment and the anger, they open the pandora box, same everywhere, and always like that.

Of course trump would dissociate from him, and he may genuinely do not endorse this man and his words, but trump is the trigger for this type of freeing of language nonetheless

His karma, and his supporters altogether I think, although i am not in charge of attributing karma to others, just giving my views

Sorry if I offend anyone, just talking among mature people i hope

I know you can read that in BOLD,yes?
That is what I said!

Madonna is equally the idiot Adamini is.

"No, this opinion doesn't reflect those of the GOP. To claim it does is just pure fantasy and is dishonest."

Correct.

But speaking as though Madonna and a small group of anarchists in Berkeley are reflective of the majority of people who are opposed to the idiotic and dangerous statements and policies of 45 (and that horrible excuse for a human being Milo Ywhatsis) is also pure fantasy and dishonest.

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people have been peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights. Why do you always focus on the tiny percentage who "riot" or otherwise prove they are idiots? It would be the same as if I said Dylan Roof is representative of all Southerners who own guns. Or that all people who voted for Trump are racists.

And BTW, even though I recognize this guy does not represent the entire GOP, reading his statement the other day made me shiver and physically ill. You see, I am the age of the people who were murdered by the National Guard at Kent State. It had a profound (and obviously lasting) effect on me. Some of those kids who were killed or severely injured and paralyzed for life were doing nothing but walking to class.

I'm sure you (and he) are too young to realize how significant an event it was, and how horribly inappropriate it is to make light of.

ETA: I don't think hyperbole that promotes violence is ever appropriate, whether by a crazy on the right or a crazy on the left.

The anarchists may have committed the violent acts, but the things the "peaceful" protesters said were disgusting and not at all in furtherance of free speech, but instead was intended to censor it.

You have an uncanny knack for changing the subject, Randall.

But I'll bite. I have no idea what the protestors said, but I have a hard time comprehending how it could be more disgusting than what Milo says, or bringing it back to the subject of this thread, more disgusting than suggesting that protestors be murdered by the National Guard.

No one here is advocating deadly force being used on protestors or even on rioters. The 1st Amendmemt must protect unpopular speech, or else it becomes worthless, which the left just doesn't understand.

No one here...

Well just slightly off topic, you know
Ami Anne and her posse have been advocating violence against protesters at LL, if you care. And it's disgusting and ongoing.
