As Juni's article itself states, this bill is just one piece of the puzzle. It's being judged as only one phase out of three. The end bill will make healthcare great again...for all age groups and for everyone.IP: Logged |

Plus, this is just the House version. There will also be a Senate version. Then we will see President Trump's negotiation skills come into play. I'm confident that the final product will be excellent and far better than Obamacare could ever have hoped to be even on its best day.IP: Logged |

I have absolutely no faith or trust in the CBO...Congressional Budget Office. Their projections have proved to have widely missed the mark over and over and over. One of the reasons is that the CBO MUST accept every line projection inserted in bills by Congress as TRUE and base their cost estimates on flawed congressional estimates. Anyone who believes President Trump would sign a health care bill which increases health care costs for 64 year olds making $26,000 per year to $14,000 per year is nuts. That's not going to happen. Insurance companies will set insurance rates, not the federal government...as happens under ObamaCare. And, there will be competition among insurance companies which will bring down the cost of insurance...as it does for every other industry One more thing. This bill is still undergoing debate and revisions in the House. It's not going to pass in it's present form. It's not the finished product. Further, the US Senate will have it's own bill. When that's passed the Senate, there will be a joint conference, House and Senate, to reconcile the 2 different bills. IP: Logged |

Finally, some common sense and unbiased info

Also, the CBO got the supposed 24 million number of people losing their healthcare in 2026 by comparing it to Obamacare as the result of the end of the mandate, i.e., if they are not forced to buy, then they won't. First, that's called freedom. Second, you can't make any prediction relative to Obamacare, because Obamacare will have death spiraled by the end of this year and will effectively not exist long before 2026. Five exchanges currently have only a single plan, and a third have only one insurer.IP: Logged | |
