'People of color'sounds to my ear dangerously close to 'colored.' Which, again, I was trained to believe was archaic and racist.

Sort of like "Native American", which in the 90s was drilled into our heads as the respectful term, rather than the very naughty 'Indian." Now I'm told that's wrong too. I'm to use either "Native", if I must, or better yet, "Indingenous", or best, "First Nation."

I have been screamed at and banned from a far Left group for accidentally and out of habit using "Native American." You would have thought I said Injun. Remember when the Laura ingalls Wilder Award for childrens literature was renamed because "Injun/Indian" was used throughout? Like that.

Anywho, what "POC" effectively does is band together assorted minorities into one powerful voting/social activist bloc. Necessary in the coming majority/minority demographic US. Everyone is allowed in the club except whites and Jews. The Jews have their own uber powerful club, (plus a convenient escape hatch) so no biggie for them. But you my friend, are shiit out of luck.

Incidentally, I know several Far Left blacks who are severely ****** about the POC thing. To their mind, and imo understandably so, why should their long struggle in the US be politically lumped in with the H1B visa guy from Delhi making 200,000 for Big Corp?

The biggest prob the Far Left has is its diversity. Believe me when I say it is a Tower of Babel in there. Hatred for whitey, and the POC brand, is holding them together for now but eventually there is going to a be a godawful Menshevik purge.

I've been watching interviews. It's a shock that some strong Republicans in the highest places of influence SAY that 'they didn't see it coming'. That's because they have a BLIND Love of the person {not the position} whom they have pledged their loyalty and obedience to, since the beginning when they fell-in-love with 'him'. -- And I DO 'feel sorry' and I Understand... They had been DUPED by someone they admired (even to the point of worship? ..)

To the rest of us who have been following news 'outside the bubble', we SAW it unfolding years ago. There were Homeland Security officials who SENT these Republicans a 'warning'-- but these Republicans didn't read nor heed ANY clues of the dangerous 'Red'Flags-- the Insurrection had been planned years ago. They have had sessions of smaller "practice-runs", tests, in the past year on places (especially) like the Michigan State Capitol at end of May 2020 that was accompanied with threats to the life, property, {and families}, of that Governor and persons who held office there.

This Insurrection by Maga-Rioters was very well-planned AHEAD of time. They even told their plans-- published on social media platforms. Each time the Democrats and their families were 'accused' of things, THESE were the VERY THINGS that this corrupt admin and henchmen HAD been doing all along. That was their 'tell'! It was so PLAIN to see. .. Elephant in the Room?

On the ground, on the Insurrection-Day, January 6, 2021, it was PLAIN to watch how even some of the Capitol Police {hardy fellow TRUMP-supporters?} were giving the Insurrectionists free-pass through the gates, the blockades -- {Red-Hats, Rifles, and The Trump-Flags waving were their permission-- to replace The American Flags in critical spots, for the erection of Confederate Flags and Trump Flags instead}.

These MAGAs were as bold as to build a Hangin' Gallows, while they were on a 'hunt' to find and to kill VP Mike Pence for not 'complying' with Trump's own wishes. They saw him as a betrayer, act of treason to the party-autocratic leader.

What I see in the response of SHOCK by influential Republicans is that they were IN-LOVE!!! with the person of Trump.

When a person is IN-LOVE, that LOVE becomes a BlindSpot.
You cannot SEE what is PLAIN to others...
Wrong behaviors and cues from the loved one is simply-overlooked as an endearing personality-quirk.

Instead of being "embarrassed" and trying to cover for their MISTAKE {normal for the 'ego' to want to defend}, these Republicans should simply accept their love for him blinded them-- that we SAW they were not seeing correctly by their INORDINATE LOVE and respect for that man-- who even now has turned 'against' them.

"When a person SHOWS you 'who they are'?-- BELIEVE them."

Part of the "danger" now is that this group of REDHATS is well-organized, they are NETWORKED all over the country, and have been LIED to. They Believe!! They have been ACTIVATED by words and manipulation of emotions by this sitting president, and were clearly very-encouraged to act-out in VIOLENCE in their locales.

I hope that the now-awakening Republicans can maintain their DIGNITY 'as' original Republicans, and accept that they were FOOLED, and that the Dems 'understand' the seductive spirit they fell under.

IF these awakened-Republicans can forgive their own selves, and start to work WITH the Dems, to rebuild every aspect of Harm-Done over these past 4 years, then we'll have a BETTER Run Government.

Our Government makes Laws based on debating the issues at-hand, and MAKING the Best of what is 3rd. 3rd-- the option they come up with as a result of finding the BEST Solution made by differing perspectives.

LOVE is Blind..
