Your cousin's husband is misinformed. ANTIFA are communist thugs. Why do you think they wear masks? They aren't there to fight Nazis. They advocate a collapse of the government. And the Constitution protects unpopular speech. The First Amendment isn't there to protect majority opinion.

Yes, one nut job ran over a woman. Just like one nut job from the left (Bernie supporter) shot up a baseball field. That doesn't justify violence from the ANTIFA thugs. Nor does it justify discarding the Constitution.

Right. Freedom of speech is in the constitution, not the domain of one party. Trump said he would pay the legal fees of the guy who assaulted a protester at a rally. He rewarded someone using physical violence on a protester who was exercising his right to free speech.

How long ago was that? It was before he was elected. If you were so worried about thugs, that should have been a big red flag to you and his other supporters.

And what about the reporter who was attacked in May? By the republican senate nominee? You made all kinds of excuses for him, that simply being touched lightly by a reporter, was good enough reason to beat the guy. Where was your concern about violence then?

If he supports those criminal terrorists, yes he is.

What candidate Trump said was hyperbole. And let's not forget that people in the Hillary campaign were caught paying those people at Trump rallies to attack others! About the reporter, I informed you about the law. We have the right to resist a unwelcomed physical touch--called a battery. He threw the guy to the ground. it's ANTIFA that beat people. You compare that to physically assaulting peaceful protesters and destroying private property? And justify those violent acts, because you are offended by words?

People were threatening to take up arms, and do something, if Hillary was elected. There was all of this ooh'ing and ahh'ing as well as agreement that they were in the right: exercising their second amendment rights.

All of this makes me angry, but I'm supposed to be calm and polite, in case I'm labeled intolerant? I am intolerant of that.

Another excuse for his supporting violence. If Hillary said the same thing, I would not support her, but you let him get away with it.

I remember exactly what you told me. When I countered with the accusations against trump, of his touching and grabbing women - kissing them, too - without consent, you said the women wanted it. Disgusting.

No, I said if they consented, then it's not assault. Consent is a defense.

Who are you kidding here? You support every single thing Hillary said and did. Nothing would change that. Hillary said not accepting the results of the election would endanger our democracy. And then she turned around and did just that.

And they didn't consent. You assumed that they did.

I've always been intolerant of men hurting women, only for the women to be dismissed, ignored, accused of lying, or of wanting it. Always. And I always will be.

You assumed the talk conveyed happened in the first place. And if it did, you assumed it wasn't consensual. But where's the outrage over the way Hillary shamed and treated Bill's victims? Here's your chance to prove what you just said--that you would speak out against Hillary. I'm waiting...

Since when? I have not.

As much as I hate trump - and I do loathe him - I don't blame independents for voting another way, when it came out that the DNC may have been the reason that Bernie didn't win the nomination. I voted another way years ago, because the democrats used their lawyers to get Nader off the ballot. I wasn't going to be forced into voting for someone. I would have given them my vote if they hadn't done that. It was not democracy in action, trying to take a candidate away from the voters.

I didn't witness it, but if it happened, I don't agree with it. You also assume that the women there were victims, but make excuses for trump, and say they wanted it. I don't like Bill Clinton, so you're really barking up the wrong tree here.

Since you bring that up. That press conference that trump did, parading women out, trying to throw Hillary off, was awful.

Oh, and Monica lewinsky? I don't agree with affairs, but I did disagree with her treatment.

You're joking, right? You've made an excuse for everything Hillary has done. Speaking of which, she said every victim of sexual assault deserves to be heard. But she didn't really mean it. She called Bill's victims trailer trash and relentlessly attacked them. Go ahead. Make an excuse for her. How intolerant are you of men abusing women?

I saw nothing wrong with Hillary having to see the women she shamed at the debate. It's called karma.

Extremely intolerant. I'm waiting for you to stop defending trump for what he's done to women. I don't remember you ever saying that he's been wrong.

But everything against Donald is wrong?

I don't believe in karma, anymore. I've seen it thrown around as an excuse for bad things happening to people, some wishing it upon others (which doesn't sound like it would attract good karma, and isn't a particularly kind thing to do).

I've dealt with abusive men at several points in my life. That's one reason I never wanted trump to be elected - but you happily voted for him, and continue to praise him. Just like others - men who think like him, and women who haven't been hurt by men like him.

In studying law, I see the effects of karma just about every day. But I guess it's all about perspective.

I've seen too many abusive people rewarded, while the rest of us sink.

I've seen that, too. That's why I chose to be a lawyer--to give justice to those who might otherwise not be able to afford it. Karma can be way too slow. I'd like to give it a helping hand.

When it's Trump its "consensual" tho his accusers said not. When its Clinton "no way". Maybe she had a point about goldiggers? And they had their chance to be heard; that doesn't mean they were convincing. The fact is DT considers talking about pieces of azz an admirable image..Bill may actually be worse but he's not going around setting up rape as cool.

There has been as much fake and malicious gossip about the Clintons - that you eat up - as about DT in fact more basis to the latter cause he has this compulsive bragging tendency.
