BREXIT BOOM: Factory Orders Hit Four-Year High, Hiring Increased to Cope with Surging Demand
Victoria Friedman
2 Dec 2017

UK factories are experiencing their best business conditions for four years, with factories needing to increase hiring to cope with the rising demand.

British factories are experiencing strong demand in production, not just at home but from abroad with export demand being particularly high, beating City expectations,
reports The Guardian.

Research firm IHS Markit and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply’s monthly industry health check found that all manufacturing sectors are at their most upbeat since the summer of 2013, with the manufacturing performance index growing from 56.6 in October to 58.2 in November.

According to IHS Market, it was the 10th best showing in the survey’s 26-year history.....

1. Brexit's biggest positive was a crash of the Pound, enabling Britain to become competitive again in exports. Hence surging orders.

2. This surge will help Britain pay for the 80-100 Billion Euros "Divorce Settlement"

3. High value jobs will continue to move to Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt. Possibly to Ireland too.

4. Low Wage jobs will see big boom in Britain.

5. Overall, a big positive for the World.

Part of the "doomsday" brigade who now have egg all over their faces...since their prognostications about the demise of the UK for exiting the EU didn't come to pass.

Eggs and Bacon both on the face... it will take some years for actual results to come.
Mature people do not assess a chess match after the first move. But the immature can say what they want. Hitler was considered unstoppable in 1939...

Mayor Sadiq Khan today:

"Huge ramifications for London if Theresa May has conceded that it's possible for part of the UK to remain within the single market & customs union after Brexit. Londoners overwhelmingly voted to remain in the EU and a similar deal here could protect tens of thousands of jobs. "

Can London become a Country in the EU ?

That would be super cool.

BTW, a reminder about the actual percentage of British who voted for Brexit:
52% of only 37% of the eligible population who turned up to vote, voted to leave. That’s around 19% of the UK voting leave.

63% never thought anyone would be so idiotic to vote "Leave" the EU. And they paid the price....

I think you missed thr point but I don't think you would be able to figure it out anyway.

The EU is a political endeavor between countries who fought against each other during CENTURIES with the climax we knew with WWI & WWII... time to stop and reconsider our destiny in common.

The thing is britain is capable of being one foot in and one foot out. It is really sad for everyone who loves them in the EU and every british citizen who enjoyed being fully integrated to the common goal of "the continent".

But Britain will always be European by its geography, and European nations are forever indebted to this courageous nation that was the only one to save honours until the US joined the effort in 1942.

It is sad, sad, sad. And also good news if their economy keep working. But it is SAD THEY VOTED TO LEAVE.

Ps: I don't expect you to answer nicely or to understand my point of view, I just wanted to say my sadness about the brexit. And as Randall says, onward and upward...

Lets not forget the UK is still IN the EU.. with a strong push for a revote ongoing and a govt skating on very thin ice with an unelected leader. Any pontificating on whetherBrexit will kill or revive them are enormously premature.

you're seeing the results of BREXIT right now. More production and production jobs in all sections of manufacturing...in Britain.

Hey leftists, what's wrong with that? Oh wait, it's just a scandal that all those British citizens are escaping your little Socialist gulag known as the European Union.

Look for more escape referendums in other countries as their citizens wise up.

THANK YOU. You are so classy, pire.

I'm not over there, and didn't get to vote, but I know people who voted on both sides. More people to voted to stay. I know people who are bothered by the mess that has been created through all of this, as well as those who wanted to stay and be a part of it all. I liked the idea of it: we kept our own currency, but were still in.

The British people have spoken and they don't agree with you. They were tired of being ruled over by a bunch of bungling, incompetent, unelected, long nosed busybody EU bureaucrats.

Only a small percentage voted, and London, Scotland, and I think Northern Ireland, voted to STAY. Unfortunately, some voted without really knowing what Brexit was, and were scrambling to find out what they'd done, the next day. There were all kinds of searches, in Britain, for "what is Brexit?" And people saying they didn't mean to vote to leave the EU.

Northern Ireland wants a deal to stay in the EU. London, Scotland, and Wales, are now asking for the same.

When thr people vote for a campaign as dishonest as the Brexit campaign, it doesn't take long for the blinders to come off. in fact it took barely hours for the liars to stick it toi those who voted for them..

Nigel Farage has admitted that it was a "mistake" to promise that £350million a week would be spent on the NHS if the UK backed a Brexit vote.

Speaking just an hour after the Leave vote was confirmed the Ukip leader said the money could not be guaranteed...

The pledge was central to the official Vote Leave campaign and was controversially emblazoned on the side of the bus which shuttled Boris Johnson and Michael Gove around the country.

Less than 19% of Eligible Voters voted to Leave, and a vast majority of these duffers did not understand the ramifications.

A few months of extra production jobs that help 1-2% of the populace is not going to avert long term problems unless more young Brits return to UK, and sufficient growth in the younger population occurs to carry the burden of the pensioners.

Best to have one more Referendum. It might save UK a 100 Billion euros.

Stop trying to minimize the BREXIT vote by the British people.

They voted to leave the EU...PERIOD!

And now, the British economy has improved with manufacturing up in all manufacturing areas. Which is the exact opposite of what the leftist lunatics blithered, blathered and bloviated about with brain dead bombastic
drivel and nonsense.

First of all, I AM BRITISH.

Born to an English mother, and an American father. Grown up in both countries. I try to keep up with the news there, too, but you know what I also have? FRIENDS and family, too. I know how they voted, and why. I also know what they have told me about what's going on.

Stop thinking you know everything! You don't! None of us do.

Secondly, Britain = England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. They are the United Kingdom.

Scotland voted for or against staying in the UK, a few years ago. After Brexit, there was talk of another referendum for independence, because they want to stay in the EU.

everything else I said was also true. I think Wales was thinking about voting for independence, too.

No jwhop..YOU stop minimizing the disillusion of the people who were blatsntly lied to and had that thrown in their faces one hour after the vote was counted. Stop minimizing the huge number of people who want a new referendum now that they have seen more facts. Stop pretending that the current govt were chosen by the people. Teresa May is an unwanted unelected disgrace

You spend a lot of energy on other people's business for someone who doesn't want those same people meddling in yours

People working in factories need the NHS. WHICH IS BEING STARVED TO DEATH by the Tories.

I repeat Brexit hasn't yet happened but Austerity is killing Brits in the tens of thousands. As usual seniors and children are the first to suffer.

Right. They even had Tories suddenly quitting, directly after. I remember people voting overwhelmingly for Labour, after this.

You're just angry that British citizens escaped the little Socialist Gulag known as the European Union.

The way things are going in the rest of EU country, others will be demanding the same thing...get out of the EU.

No one's stopping you from living in your little bubble world of unreality. An unreality where the British electorate DID NOT vote to leave the European Union.
