Because it takes more than a majority vote to pass legislation in the US Senate. It takes 60 Senate votes to pass legislation because the minority party can filibuster legislation.

1- you say BOLCHEVISM, and u exaggerate, having free healthcare, free education, top infrastructure is not bolchevism, it is reality in Europe which is not a communist part of the world. Ask people in the streets here

2- civil war may or may not be in the card for the US I don't know, but it takes 2 to tango, and from a european perspective, we built th EU in the aftermath of 2 world wars that happened mainly over her ( especially on french soil), I wouldn't manipulate these scenarios as casually as you do

3- politics in the future are / should be less of the problem, and more of what it initially is meant to be, like in african villages, just a gathering of reasonable elders who won't budge from the tree sahde until they found a compromise. That is politics that is useful, the ret is only covert passive agressive manipulation used to foster the advancement of a few ideas or a few people. Not the best interest of all.

Jwhop, for a similar (or lesser) national debt, Europeans benefit free healthcare, education and good infrastructures, like it or not. You average income per year is around 60k while here it is half ( my intuition I can fact check I’m on my phone) but this comes with free education, free healthcare and top infrastructure. But my point is not that the European system is better, if you prefer yours that is fine, my point is that here it is not bolchevik, merely socialist in the social democrat style.
