That’s a study on a lab grown strain of this virus. We can reasonably assume that it would act like other coronas and similar viruses do. They all are susceptible to high humidity and temps. Trump is not a scientist, why did the MAGA nutters blindly follow him?13000 Cases now, heading to 100,000+ The Fox News watchers, Christian Evangelists and QAnon Group blindly believed Trump when he said early on that it will just disappear like magic in April. NONE of them sanitized their hands, none socially isolated. They were partying in Nashville, the Mad MAGA dimwits, spreading COVID-19 on a war footing.
There was even one Piece-of-Sh*t claiming on TV that his prayer gets rid of the virus.

Well, one thing is more testing is being done.Kudos to California and NY for the lock down, that will flatten the curve for sure. Kudos to Dr Anthony Fauci, the only non-Egoistic Grown Up in White House Team dealing with the Pandemic, he is sincerely offering solutions. The World will be grateful to him. I'm usually right. I must have some Trump DNA in me somewhere down the line.People were saying a 4.5 percent fatality. And calling me crazy on FB for calling that nonsense. Now that the numbers of infected have drastically spiked, we see a 1.5 percent death toll in the U.S. Things are about to get a lot better. Holland has a test now that detects the antibodies. It's a blood test, but that makes it very accurate. They are going to mass test thousands of people with no symptoms (10,000 next week). And the UK has a home test for the antibodies that is as simple as a pregnancy test. This will help those who are under quarantine to get released. What does all this mean? I'm glad that you asked. It means that the number of infected, i.e., recovered, is going to shoot through the roof! That will make the fatality rate FAR below 1 percent--quite possibly infinitesimally small. IP: Logged |

Fatality rates are varying a lot.
In Germany it is less than 0.2% and in Italy it is more than 3%.
The Virus has already mutated twice, we have to hope that it does not become a more dangerous strain in the US as infections are now above 20K in just 3 days and are likely to cross 100,000 in April.A 2 trillion dollar bailout has been

Have you checked where the new jobs came from? Largely in Small and Medium Sector. Large Corporations trimmed the workforce and misused the Tax Cuts.

Incidentally, a lot of the Trump support demographics comes from older people. No matter what Trump is doing now, which is a reversal of position, If this virus devastates this older population, there will be less of them to vote for Trump.
