Getting this out of the way - I dont think Trump's actions were sufficient or timely. So dont come at with me with the trumptard bs.

But watching some of you play politics with his blunder is honestly really off putting. Who didnt stall? Some of your leftist heroes ... De Blasio, Macron, Trudeau ... they all f*cked this up and their people are paying for it. This was a worldwide fail. A fail which, when the storm passes, should be considered and even investigated. It wont be though because of dumbasss blind partisanship like we see here.

Iq I hate to burst your happy little bubble here, but that's not "documented." Those quotation marks of yours mean nothing without citation. No sources = no documentation.

Hi Shura,
I saw the fact check on snopes.com.
Here is the proof:
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/timeline-trump-covid19-responses/

I heard a lot of them on his press conferences too. There is no escape from his blunders, he messed up big time regarding COVID-19 and he must own it. 15 cases to 100,000+ all on his watch. He was briefed in December itself. He had 90 days to prepare. He did do one good thing, close the flights from China, but after that he became overconfident.

No harm in apologizing, only Tyrants/Narcissists blame others all the time.
If he says sorry to America, everyone will support him even more during crisis.

By the way, Macron, Merkel etc also goofed up big time. Their overconfidence was on their health care system. I don't think Hillary or Biden or Obama would have done much better either. All have weaknesses, but they never claim to be infallible and huge and great and All-Knowing all the time, that is the key difference.

So yes, this is an epic fail in several countries. I think only South Korea can hold their head high for excellent response, tracing and testing upon testing for FREE.

I know you are ****** off that your right wing heroes let you down but when you worship Humans as Idols, they will let you down. Only God is Fit to be worshipped. Think about Number 19, the most seen number of 2020.

That is why you rudely used the term "Happy Bubble" when I pointed out the blunders. I know you feel angry and so do I that every country messed up, that leaders were so incompetent. Our own useless Modi is the worst of all. He delayed locking down and trace till March 24th so that his tyrants could bribe an opposition led State Government to collapse and install his right wing fascists there.

"He was briefed in December itself. He had 90 days to prepare."

There are no news sources reporting that Trump was briefed about the coronavirus threat to America in December.

Prove it with a credible source.

The Trump hating droolers in the main stream media would love to publish that story..or anything they could spin coming close to that story.

Why haven't they?

iQ your list is not the same list posted on snopes. Also, snopes is not exactly a confidence booster. Careful with that one.

Macron … he whose "complex thoughts" are too much for a simple q&a with mere mortal journalists?
http://www.lemonde.fr/politique/article/2017/06/29/ce-que-macron-veut-faire-de-son-congres_5152770_823448.html

Macron, as in "Jupiter" himself?
http://www.politico.eu/article/emmanuel-macron-jupiter-model-unlikely-to-stand-test-of-time-leadership-parliamentary-majority/

lol c'mon iQ. Macron is nothing if not an self important egotist

I would sure like to know who my "right wing heroes" are, iQ. Seriously, if you could point me in the direction of any heroism on the right (or left for that matter), I would be much obliged.

That said, "right wing" (if they could be termed so) Russia and Singapore have responded well to crisis.

Partisanship like my supporting my republican governor? Trump is currently lying about a GM plant here in Ohio, insulting reporters as usual, and is telling the VP to not talk to governors who are not “nice”. As in: stressed governors who are angry and being denied help. Who is being partisan? He is.

Nobody is playing politics, and he could have earned a lot of respect. Instead, he’s playing his same old games that are actually getting people killed, and HE politicized at it his rallies. So yes, THAT is sick and partisan, and he shouldn’t have done it. As usual, you take something and poke at people here. Nobody is happy about this. Nobody is reveling in the idea that this will take him down, because people are dying.

No use trying to make this seem like Trump was briefed last year on the coronavirus implications for America.

This was a readiness review of government to find flaws in the emergency response systems for any emergency.

US ranks # 1 on Global Health Security Index, which came out last October. The work was a collaborative project, between the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security, and The Economist Intelligence Unit.

He’s more concerned about ratings. That’s what is on his mind. But this is normal, right? Is Trudeau tweeting about ratings too? How about Boris? Merkel?

This was true, and I don’t know how anyone can support him in that. I’m not ashamed of being angry.

Aren't you embarrassed at being wrong so often with allegations you post?

I don't know if this review is what they're talking about or...if they just made it up. They've had plenty of time to substantiate their allegation.

But, like you, I can't find any news sources reporting Trump being briefed by intelligence agencies..or others on coronavirus in December 2019.

They considered having us ride it out, until they heard that two million could die.

More damned lies.

Riding out coronavirus was never considered. Some people were talking about it...long before they ever heard about possibly 2.2 million US deaths.

The up to 2.2 million deaths in the US was the top line number...IF NO MITIGATION OF CORONA VIRUS WAS UNDERTAKEN, NONE! But steps to mitigate coronavirus infections and deaths have been taken all the way back to President Trump banning flights from China and continuing to the present day. Why do you think almost the entire US economy was shut down? Mitigation! Masks, ventilators, hand washing, distancing, STAY HOME.

Just so you know, Evan McMullin is just another Trump hating mutt.

Donald Trump: (37:33)
I just want to reiterate, because a lot of people have been asking, well, what would have happened if we did nothing? (**got that? What would have happened if we did nothing(**) Did nothing, we just rode it out, **But they didn't just ride it out** and I’ve been asking that question to Tony and Deborah, and they’ve been talking to me about it for a long time, other people have been asking that question, and I think we got our most accurate study today, or certainly most comprehensive. Think of the number, potentially, 2.2 million people if we did nothing. If we didn’t do the distancing, if we didn’t do all of the things that we’re doing. When you hear those numbers, you start to realize that, with the kind of work we went through last week, with the $2.2 trillion, it no longer sounds like a lot, right?

Donald Trump: (38:19)
You’re talking about, when I heard the number today, first time I’ve heard that number, because I’ve been asking the same question that some people have been asking, I felt even better about what we did last week with the $2.2 trillion, because you’re talking about a potential of up to 2.2 million, and some people said it could even be higher than that. So you’re talking about 2.2 million deaths. 2.2 million people from this. If we can hold that down as we’re saying, to 100,000, it’s a horrible number. Maybe even less, but to 100,000, so we have between 100 and 200,000, we altogether have done a very good job. 2.2, up to 2.2 million deaths and maybe even beyond that? I’m feeling very good about what we did last week.
