Deaths jumped 41% yesterday. Metro Detroit area the hotbed.

I too expect NY peak to be reached by April 9-14 as projected.
The focus now should be on saving lives by ensuring every ICU Patient has a Ventilator.
I wrote an idea on FB, will post here:

1. US has the best Military Cargo Planes (Hercules Series). They have to be used to ship the unused Ventilators from South Korea [who have beaten COVID-19 thanks to pro-active test/isolate strategy from January itself) ]. They have 7500-10000 Ventilators to spare.
2. Airlift these asap to New York, where the Cuomo Algorithm is waiting for the Apex level to use their stock of Ventilators. The South Korean shipment can immediately be put to use. 2 in 1 split usage means 15 to 20K excess capacity.
3. Within 2 weeks, US Manufacturers will make 6000-10000 more Ventilators which go directly to the next hot spot like Louisiana.
4. By April End, NY comes out and need reduces so the 20K ventilators get shifted to the next dense spot [Detroit, Florida?]
5. Now connect with Italian Hospitals who have beaten COVID-19, they have 20K Ventilators to spare.
6. My Mid May, the excess NY Ventilators get distributed to other States. By then Louisiana frees up their stock, and the manufacturers produce 12-15K more Ventilators.
7. All other hotspots are covered with foreign and local Ventilators, even if 50K people need Ventilators, they would be covered.
This kind of Solution will save a 100K lives. No decisions to take someone off a Ventilator need be done.
I welcome others thoughts and sugegstions.

The US has ventilators sitting in warehouses of the rest of 50 states where this is not out of control yet. Why south korea should help? It is in danger of an attack from N. korea or even China .
