Protester: Gov. Whitmer ‘Putting Michigan in Donald Trump’s Win Column’ Hannah Bleau 15 Apr 2020Radio host Steve Gruber, who attended Wednesday’s protest in Lansing, Michigan, on Wednesday, sent a pointed message to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D), pointing to the massive crowd of protesters in the area and reminding her that they will vote in November. Thousands of protesters flocked to Lansing on Wednesday to protest the governor’s stringent stay-at-home orders and refusal to signal the reopening the economy. Gruber told Breitbart News that the governor is, effectively, “putting Michigan in Donald Trump’s win column again in 2020.” “I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Not in the state capital. Not in a protest,” he said, stating that there were “tens of thousands” of people in attendance. “But you look around. People want to go back to work. They don’t want to be told whether they can do gardening, whether or not they can do a home improvement project, or whether or not they can use their boat with a motor on it or go to their cabin up north,” he said. “They want to be Americans which is being free, and they know the COVID-19 thing is in the backslide. They were okay with it for a while,” he noted, but said it has “gone on too long.” “The economy is destroyed,” he said. Most people in attendance, Gruber said, have “never been to a political protest in their life.” “You know why? They used to have jobs. They didn’t have time. Now they’ve got to go here because they don’t have job. A million Michigan residents jobless because of this whole mess,” he said, adding that the anger is building up not only in Michigan “but in Pennsylvania, in New York, in Wisconsin, across this country.” “Right now, what Gretchen Whitmer has done, is put Michigan back in Donald Trump’s column. Look at this,” he said as protesters honked in the background. “You think these people aren’t going to vote? These people are all going to vote. Every one of these people. Every direction you look here. They’re all going to vote. Every one of them.” “Gretchen Whitmer is putting Michigan in Donald Trump’s win column........... http://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/15/protester-gov-whitmer-putting-michigan-in-donald-trumps-win-column/ IP: Logged |

The massive crowd that put everyone at risk? That's what happened here in Ohio, too, although most Ohioans think our governor is doing the right thing.IP: Logged |

Tens of thousands..in Lansing MI Thats the funniest thing I've read all week. Where in the hell did all these people come from and where did they put them.. I saw the protest and and a few thousand, at Best. They were the eggheads that voted for the don anyhow and that few k dont amount to a hill of beans in the 2020 vote count. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

Teasel, yes that few thousand are now potentially walking incubators of covid. I respect their right to protest but they dont have a moral or civic right to endanger others during a pandemic. We'll have to see how the case numbers play out now.------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

100-150 people protested by gathering. The rest of the estimated 10,000 stayed in their cars...keeping safe distances. Those outside their cars were not part of the organized protest. So, what were they protesting? You can go to Walmart to buy groceries but can't buy paint, can't buy motor oil, can't buy a child restraint seat for your car, can't buy houseplants or vegetable or flower seeds. You can go out on the lake in your sail boat...but not your power boat. You can't go to your 2nd home...while you're on forced vacation...but out of staters can come to Michigan to visit their 2nd home there. Oh, but women can go to Planned Parenthood to kill their babies while under lockdown. Potheads can go to their favorite pot store to get high. Liquor stores are open. Whitless is a pandering fool, auditioning for a job as Vice President. The peeps are pi$$ed at the Whitless arbitrary decrees and resorting to the Court. IP: Logged |

Jwhop, 10 k in cars couldnt fit in lansing. Its already a joke here that that number was published. A protest, yes, many in gathering, yes, many in cars, yes. Not 10 k. These protesters are already in the dons pool of voters so its not the wave gruber is stating. A ripple yes . To be expected as you cant please everyone so they need to suck it up and think of the welfare of all 10 million citizens. Not just themselves!! ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

For every person who writes to a company to complain about their product or service, the company knows there's thousands more with the same compliant who didn't take the time to write a letter.Same thing with protests. People came from all over Michigan to protest. That doesn't mean there aren't 10s of thousands, hundreds of thousands or millions of people who feel the same way as the protesters. IP: Logged |

I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.IP: Logged |

The legislature makes laws, not the executive. A governor can’t make up laws and affix penalties to them. Suggestions and recommendations are one thing. A police state is another. IP: Logged |
