Starting in 2009, running through 2011, Obama and his 'Wing Man', Attorney General Eric Holder ran an illegal smuggling operation to run American guns to drug cartels in Mexico....known as 'Fast & Furious.
BATF agents told gun stores to sell guns to buyers who were obviously 'Straw Purchasers', a practice which is illegal. Thousands of guns were sold during 'Fast & Furious' which went south across the southern border. Those guns were traced to many murders of Mexican citizens and US law enforcement personnel.
Congress held hearings on the matter and attempted to get Eric Holder in front of the committee to answer questions about 'Fast & Furious'.
Obama declared 'Executive Privilege' and refused to let Holder testify.
Congress responded by holding Eric Holder in 'Contempt of Congress'.
The 'Fast & Furious' operation broke US, International and Mexican laws.
But, The Marxist Messiah, Obama claims there wasn't a smidgen of corruption in his administration. Right! Check!
Now, Mexico wants an accounting and apology from the United States.

“Anyway, the United States Government still has time to offer an apology because it was another President, but in the end, it is the United States Government that has to explain this situation.”
According to Lopez Obrador, over the weekend, documents surfaced that pointed to high-level officials knowing of the operation.
Known as Fast and Furious, the operation ran from 2009 to 2011, and allowed thousands of weapons to be sold to Mexican cartels in the U.S. with the knowledge they would be smuggled south. Authorities placed trackers in some of the weapons but thousands went missing and ended in the hands of some of Mexico’s most violent criminal organizations....
