I am no fan of the WHO. Let's face it--their music sucks. Just kidding. I'm talking about the WHO that are China's boot lickers. But every blue moon, even a blind monkey can find a banana. The WHO now says that it is so rare for asymptomatic people to spread Covid-19 that it is almost nonexistent. Meaning it can occur, but it is not very likely. I would argue that it has never happened. So, apparently, the lockdown (whose premise was that asymptomatic carriers could pass the virus to others) was an absolute waste of time. What we should have done is just ask those who are sick and those who are most vulnerable to stay home. A conspiracist might think that this new remarkable "insight" is a cover for the fact that these masses of people protesting are not going to cause an increase in cases. But I certainly am not suggesting that. Any number of articles are online about this, but I just chose one at random that was from a liberal news source:

Apparently they retracted the new recommendation, and the spokesperson said she mispoke or omitted to say something and therefore was misunderstood. whatever.

Anyway, I do confess I am leaning toward conspiracy theory there. We've had massive protests/riots for the past 2 weeks with social distancing tossed in the trash, so according to all the warnings we were given prior, the country should start drowning in Covid cases just about now. If that doesn't happen, they will be scrambling to explain it away without losing face.

Correction: She didn’t walk back on the information. That was fake news. She clarified that PRESYMPTOMATIC people can transmit the virus, i. e., those who aren’t sick yet but will be, as opposed to ASYMPTOMATIC (the 50 percent who will experience no symptoms). This is very good news.
