Fewer than 1 percent of Seattle protesters have tested positive for the virus after weeks of large crowds, so a rally should be no problem.

I think this show of rallies will be the only way the average, moderate American will have their frustration at the left validated. Only a mob can challenge a mob. The mob of leftists is in full rage mode, countless people are getting fired for daring to say things like the word “riot”, companies far and wide have kowtowed en masse, and even politicians are kneeling amidst jeers. People need proof they aren’t alone in their growing anger at the left destroying this country day by day.

Movies are getting banned, TV shows are getting cancelled, books are being removed, statues are getting torn down, streets are being renamed, long-time journalists are being fired or forced to resign, video games are demanding players acknowledge their “privilege”, century old school anthems are being retired, flags are being prohibited while others have been commandeered (“we will tread”, which is textbook authoritarian and a bastardized version of the Gadsden flag), regular people are getting doxxed, and the media is promoting identity politics every waking hour and sowing the seeds of racism and division where there had never been any before. All this in just two weeks.

It’s getting alarmingly worse by the day. The results of November will likely be a mandate, not necessarily because people like who they voted for, but because they outright reject this authoritarian disease eroding our culture of liberty, freedom, and personal responsibility. It hijacked the democrat party, and is now trying to hijack our country. I feel for all the politically homeless right now, just now feeling the betrayal of their leaders and what they thought were reasonable peers.

Identity politics is trash and virtue signaling is disgusting. No one should have to apologize for hurting anyone’s sensibilities. Companies are not sentient and have no conscience, so pandering to people and making statements like “we’re with you” is shallow and lacks substance. I’ve heard some call this a panderdemic, which made me laugh. Starbucks, a notoriously lefty company said no to their employees pushing their BLM ideology (corporate policy that also included restrictions on promoting religion or politics), and after the social media mob reared its ugly head, Starbucks immediately caved and not only backtracked, but is actively creating shirts for their employees to wear. You can argue power of the purse, but Starbucks and every other company has transformed into pseudo-propaganda machines. How many emails have you received from various CEOs about this insanity? I’ve lost count.

The truth of the matter is that a tiny, TINY percentage of voting Americans are in the “woke” crowd, but they believe their numbers to be far more inflated than statistics and polls have actually shown. They’re just the loudest, with a monopoly on social media, because the average American is scared of facing the pitchforks. If the silent majority actually stood up and said “cut it out”, things would change overnight. Unfortunately, because the average American has more to risk and lose (kids, family, job, security - all in a depressed economy amidst a pandemic), this doesn’t happen. These activists, by contrast, are mostly young college kids, recent grads, no kids, and very little to lose.

The left is sending the tendrils of socialism and communism into all sectors of our society, which will ultimately destroy our liberties completely. That’s why the best descriptor for the far left isn’t “alt-left”, it’s “cntl-left”. It’s authoritarianism, the identical twin of fascism. As an aside, this is why there has never been an anarchist (far right) state - people with power inevitably crush those who just want to mind their own business.

Like everything else in life, you can’t legislate morality, you can’t force people to change, but what you can do — is scare them into submission. Otherwise, you have to depend on folks to do their best to be good of their own effort. Live and let live. Don’t tread on me, says the warning of the rattlesnake. This is the motto of the silent majority, and these rallies are the only passive way I can see the average American having their faith in others validated.

If I am optimistic, I can imagine that the more that people are a part of the silent majority, the more we are together, the louder the extremists seem to be. Guess we’ll see in November. But I still think more of us need to speak our mind and stop apologizing for our opinions.

There are a lot of Democrats who are quiet, and smart enough to not engage trump supporters. I have friends who think that trump is done, but I won't believe it until it happens. He and his supporters hijacked this country, and you could say that all of this spilled over because people have had enough. There is no silent majority, where he's concerned, as far as I can tell - unless people are embarrassed to say that they support him, because he's just awful.

I honestly haven’t seen much in the way of harassment or doxxing of those being vocal on the left. It’s anecdotal, but cancel culture does seem to primarily target those on the right - I say this even as I just saw idiots on Twitter trying to harness the public to identify a woman who was recorded stealing a thin blue line flag from someone’s property (which should strictly be a job for the police). This is why people remain silent, regardless of party affiliation. It’s pushing people apart. Most of this country is actually moderate and share certain views, with mild disagreements on how to address issues, but we’re being divided and villainized based on political party. Most people have political views that are not strictly partisan. You might have a pro-life Democrat, or a Republican that supports open borders. Civil discourse is a casualty, because of cancel culture.

We’re going to have to disagree on the existence of a silent majority. They’re there, and we have to wait until November to see exactly where they stand.

Good observations blind writer 👍

I think Trump is an ass. I think hes corrupt, I think he has abandoned his base. He is thoroughly unpleasant in every way.

But sometimes he is right.

I'm interested to see if all the many demos who have told me the riots and BLM hysteria are forcing them to vote Trump in Nov, actually will.

President Trump was going to clobber Biden in a one-sided election the likes we have never seen. But then the economy was artificially deflated. That gave Biden a chance in hell (as opposed to no chance I’m hell). Now, the pendulum swings back in favor of President Trump due to the radical left leaving moderate Dems out to dry and by the Dem party not denouncing the arson, looting, and riots (Obama understood the political toll of not publicly denouncing riots). If the economy bounces back, game over. If not, it may not be as slanted, but Biden just doesn’t have the answers. He doesn’t even know what the questions are.

Exactly. It’s statistically impossible for him to be wrong 100% of the time (as the media would have you believe), and he’s actually rather moderate in some of his views. He was a democrat for a long time, and still carries some of those views (tepid support for red flag laws, for example). It’s why there are republicans that hate him, too.

There’s certainly going to be people out there who will vote for Trump because they like him, but I bet a ton of folks will vote for him because the alternative is just THAT abhorrent. This is abundantly clear when you have campaign slogans floating around on twitter stating “Trump 2020, because f*** you again”. People really don’t like the establishment.

But who knows. People also have remarkably short memories.

You know the saying, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

When someone thinks EVERYTHING a particular person does and say is wrong all the time, I already know their judgement is faulty.

Tickets are now over a million. The venue only holds 19,000. People are already lined up. The line started on the 14th. Do you think people would line up almost a week in advance to hear Biden speak?

Democrats are desperate to stop President Trump from holding campaign rallies.

It has nothing to do with coronavirus.
It has everything to do with the huge attending audiences AND the nationwide live television audiences.

How can they register 1 million tickets when the venue can only hold 19,000? Am I missing something there? Shouldn't there have been a cap on how many thickets are registered or sold?

And where will the remaining people that cannot get in once the venue is full stay? This is all so confusing to me.

The rest can watch at another venue nearby, and they usually put a big screen outside.

He said that he thinks people are wearing masks, to show that they don’t like him - it apparently has nothing to do with covid. Yet people attending this rally, will be expected to sign a waiver to say that if they catch it from someone there, they can’t hold him responsible. So, will people be allowed to wear masks? Why has wearing a mask during a pandemic, become a political thing?

Wrong...and incoherent.

Masks will be passed out to attendees at the Tulsa Trump Rally.

Credible rumors prompted Tulsa mayor to blockade the area where the rally will be held. Leftists plan to protest (and likely riot) to prevent Trump from holding his rally tomorrow. Still think this isn’t about politics? It’s about obstructing Trump as much as possible. They’re trying to take cancel culture to the big stage.

It’s naive to think the right aren’t as susceptible to rioting. Hope it doesn’t happen, but I expect fools will try to start trouble.
