Our ancestors, and most indigenous people of today, would and do look at us as if we are completely crazy, because they know that death is a misnomer--it's simply about phasing from one dimension to another. And even not that long ago, in our own culture, we USE to refer to pneumonia as the friend of the elderly. We called it a friend because we recognized that when a person's body was breaking down after they already had a full life, but now were in pain either physical and/or emotional, etc, the pneumonia infection helped them to release this life.

It's so weird how far we've come so far away from that. One of my first real jobs was working in home with elderly folks. It was not a glamorous job, but it was fulfilling. However, it was also kind of depressing to see these folks whose bodies were completely breaking down and only being held together by a cocktail of pharmaceutical drugs, surgeries, etc. Then also the extreme loneliness because in most cases, their only regular visitors were those of us paid to visit them.

That's not really much of a life, and many only hold on because of fear of the unknown. I use to have talks with this one guy about things and I would mention some of my nonphysical/spiritual experiences. I ended up having to leave that job because my partner and I were moving to another state, and about a couple weeks after I quit, I was meditating and that client popped into my awareness strongly with a big smile and a very thankful/appreciative energy--he was sayings, "Thanks!"

Shortly after that experience, my former supervisor from that job and also a personal friend, called me up and said, just thought you might want to know, but John died recently. Since she was open to spiritual stuff, I told her about the recent meditation experience.

Anyways, Covid has by far, mostly affected the very elderly--especially as to death rate. It's not a "bad", nor negative thing to have one's body die--it is a blessing and a release. When it happens to most of us, most of us are overjoyed to be released from this heavy level and heavy body.

In fact, read a ton of NDE accounts and one of the most universally reported things in same, is how many people say something like, "Man, I was so glad to be free of that body and all the heaviness". It really is a commonly expressed sentiment. Most don't want to come back, and some have to be literally pushed back.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't try to protect elderly people. Course we should, but death is not such scary and negative thing that many people make it out to be when it does happen. Do what you practically can (and not by wrecking the entire global economy).

Just cancer and heart attacks deaths together make covid look inconsequential. Any one of us here is more likely to die by cancer or heart attack than by Covid!

This particular fear of DEATH BY COVID has been engineered and fanned by the media and the pharmaceutical industry WORLDWIDE. The media because it keeps them in business when people are glued to their screens obsessed with every little scary Covid news it delivers. when something else grabbed the public attention like the George Floyd riots/protests, the media completely forgot to feed us the DEATH BY COVID fear as they were busy covering the riots/protests.

The pharmaceutical industry because it is a golden opportunity to revamp its tainted image from the opioid crisis and become the savior of humanity through a vaccine while filling its coffers.

In the US, we have the added element of a concerted effort to crush the economy so that DT will not have a talking point for reelection.

I hate to be cynical, but that is all there is.

Hey, I am doing everything I can to stay safe. I wear masks and maintain social distancing. But I don't get apoplectic if others don't wear masks, and I am not on board with the fear mongering tactics or the guilt tripping virtue signaling. Covid is not Ebola that has a 50% mortality rate!

The fear mongerers have crushed the world's economies, compromised the financial future of generations of young people, messed up young children with mask impositions and fear of others, prevented relatives from being with their dying loved ones, all this for a virus that kills less people than cancer and heart attack.

Sometimes I feel like I have accidentally stumbled into an alternate universe because it is so non sensical to me. There has got to be another universe where people handled this whole things reasonably and sensibly. That's the universe I need to get into.

Randall, I totally agree. I was about to start a thread about the psychological tactics behind the democrats' obsession with muzzling everyone.

It didn't start with Covid, it started as you know, years ago with the PC police endeavoring to silence any dissent on a variety of subjects. You don't agree with a particular thing, that makes you a racist, or transphobic, or anti lgbt, or antiwoman, whatever...

Then we witnessed the major media platforms deplatforming those who did not toe the official medical Covid line under the pretense of protecting the medical "truth".

Trump is Leo rising with Mars conjunct ascendant. He is the prototype of the alpha male, for good or bad, and you cannot tell him what to do.

To compound this, he has sun conjunct Uranus and NN, thus a ferocious need for freedom. He cannot help it, literally, he will not be restrained. Even if it kills him.

His natal Jupiter giving a supporting trine to his sun and Uranus means he is generally lucky in striking against the grain and going about things his own way. The full moon in Aries was opposite his protective Jupiter, so you might say, his luck was challenged.

ETA: But astrology asides, if you know you are at high risks of Covid complications, then you should take all necessary precautions.
