The intent and ideology of BLM.org is the concern.

I know several peaceful to a fault, middle class white suburbanites who have attended BLM/Antifa protests. "Human shields" they're called as they supply safe, tv friendly face for the movement. Apart from some vague hope of "ending racism", not one of them supports BLM's stated aims. ie They are neither family nor police abolitionists. They support the Constitution. They're soft capitalists. They generally support the system, executive, judicial, and legislative. BLM is none of these things.

Conversely, the maga crowd, as detestable as I find them to be, are pro family, generally pro police and thoroughly pro Constitution. They are not anarchists. They support the system; the don't support the politicians within the system.

So who are the seditionists?

Of course they’re not. But that’s not in context to what I was referring to, is it.

BLM was a singular movement that affected multiple continents at various degrees of manifestation at the same time, for the same reason.

Governmental anti-corruption protest (which we are referring to here) tends to be localised in time and independent to country/government. You didn’t see the world kick off and protest the streets because of voter fraud in the US. Nope. You didn’t see sports teams kneeling in Germany, UK, Australia, China etc, because of voter fraud in the US. Nope. You didn’t see houses smashed, lives lost, businesses being looted the UK and other countries because of voter fraud in the US. Not at all.

Meaning, in isolation of both protests, BLM protests were happening globally thus the impact being on a greater scale; for bad or worse. So arguing ‘*** for tat’ in who’s protest cause the most ‘damage’ as discussed in this thread, people generally only discuss what’s happened in the US. But that’s not the reality of the two protests.
