Revenge? No. Revenge, although it may fool you into feeling that somehow justice has been attained by you the person comitting a vengeful act, it is in fact the postponement, and the assurance of a negative setback to ones own karma at some point in the future. Whereas prior to a vengeful act being enacted the situation represents an opportunity to neutralise a negative karma that found you at this point in the first place, and ensure a proportional positive karmic effect at some point in the future, by choosing to forgive. I'm not trying to sound holier than thou that's just how i see it working. ------------------ Lack of Earth - Lack of bu11shit. IP: Logged |

I'm quick to forgive. We all make mistakes. Not so easy to forget, though.------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged | |
