Ever have the pressure to be someone your not? Do people compare you to others? With todays preconceived ideal of how women and men should look, so many people are bulimic and anorexic, and many are suicidal. So many feel like there is a mold to fill but arnt living up to standard.Whats your story? ------------------

NickiG,When I was younger, I felt judged as if I should be more mature. When I was sexual, I felt judged as if I should not be sexual. When I became a mother, I felt judged as if I should be a certain "type" of mother. When I was married, I felt judged as if I should be a "type" of wife. (this goes on, sorry NickiG...heheh) When I got divorced, I felt judged. When I dated again, I felt judged. When I made any mistake, I felt judged. Even, when I was successful, I felt judged. To this day, people still judge me and make me feel as if I should fill THEIR type of mold and conform to them. But, what I've learned is that I have a BIRTH RIGHT to be who I am. I have a right to do what I want. And, I don't have to give a damn to fill a mold, unless I choose to and WANT to... So, fill "your own mold". Hope that helps IP: Logged |

I like jello molds. There's so many things you can do with a jello mold. The variety is endless! Just be careful when you fill them, because liquid burns hurt! In case you spill some hot jello on yourself, make sure to run cold water over the spot where you got the burn.IP: Logged |

lols, that was funny AbsinthPS, i feel the same...i am often compared to others and when i defend others THEY get compared to others, and i HATE it...like my brothers girlfriend is pregnant right now and she often takes breaks and makes excuses because she IS pregnant, but when i defended her my mom was all like "well your sister worked until the day she went into labor" i HATE when someone compares someone to another. so WHAT if she did? every womans pregnancy is different, you know? i often get compared to my sister and i'm just like "wtf?? i am NOT her!! stop comparing me to her!! let me be ME" ------------------

My mold was always to push myself down in to oblivion. I had to make myself small and insignificant so my mother would not get jealous and hurt me.
It is very hard for me to own myself and my own life in a proud confident way. I feel a Hand will come down from the sky and slap me for being "uppity"  ------------------
