If you chose to participate, please answer with a one word response---Yes or No.
Can your life be characterized as a Greek tragedy?
I ask you NOT to respond if you are going to give more than a one word answer cuz I do not want to deal with any more fights.
I hope you feel the same way.I assume you agree.

Well, it could be "Long Days Journey In To Night" By Eugene O'Neill, for example.
It could be a Shakespearean play.
By Greek tragedy,I did not mean literal Greek tragedy.
I meant, the stuff of which Greek tragedy's are made.
Do you know what I mean?

I got my question from reading the myths of Pluto, Saturn(Kronos) Chiron etc
For example, when Kronos ate his children, what *I* would mean by Greek tragedy would be a father who undermines his children.
The more I explain the foggier I seem to be making the question

I ask it ,also, cuz as I do psychic readings,THIS is my sense i.e the normal appearing person seems to have a life which reads like a Greek tragedy.
Mine did for my whole life, not just adult life.
I am just beginning to do psychic readings but I feel that this was one of the reasons I was put on this earth cuz I feel so fufilled and so alive when I do them.

When I read about Kronos(Saturn) eating his children,I thought "How barbaric".
It stayed with me, though.

Then,I realized that it could be a metaphor for a parent undermining a child.
It could be a father or mother who kept the child down so the child would not out shine them.
It could be a metaphor of a mother who was excessively jealous of her daughter.

Anyway, this particular myth inspired my poll.

As my G/f Gina says,if you have to build a clock, why bother ,but since I already started the thread, I will leave it

“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

You know,Sun Child,I did this poll cuz I was thinking that everyone experiences life in the SAME way,in some ways.
However, everyone experiences it differently ,in others.
I used to KNOW that we were all the same ,as people.
We had the same basic primal equipment.
Then,when I went in to a numb shell,I thought I was different.
I have felt different until now.
