Yeah.. the second greatest predictor for divorce is criticism. The worst is contempt. Stonewalling (the male response to criticism) is the 3rd worst followed by defensiveness. It is really sad to see it happen so commonly. A lot of people are suffering over it, and it's all about perceived inequality in partnerships.

I think you will make it sooner than you think by admitting you were hurt. I see now that his feelings toward women have nothing to do with me or you as women. So I am leaving it. Those are feelings that need to be resolved in a loving manner, the going back and forth isn't helping him.
