I see the human being as a layer cake.
For me, the top layer is a perfect person cuz I felt so badly about myself.

The top layer would be OK if it didn't result in depression cuz the bottom layers are screaming for self expression.

The manicured one looks at them in horror.No way are YOU gonna come in to the parlor and embarrass me.
They do come out at times.It is inevitable.
However,they come out like a child who has smeared lipstick all over his face.------------------

Its OK. Just accept them. And be an observer. The very fact that you are observing them confirms that you are not them. There are so many undesirable sides to our nature. Only some of us admit it others don't. When we admit it to ourself we have taken the first step. Then all you need to do is accept them totally (the so called -ve aspects). Thats who i am and thats it. Don't bother whether its good or bad and high or low.
Only while expressing them in the society do we have to think of the pros and cons. Then if you find them undesirable just observe them and let them parade by. If you must express them then do it. If you feel ashamed or regret it later, face it and mend it. It will take a huge burden off your shoulders. If you can't (some things we may not be able to face yet in the open) then go through the experience totally. You will come through to the other side (which is nothing). Don't suppress or try to control too hard. Ranting over. I am not trying to give you some theoritical philosophy doses. I practice this myself. It works wonders, believe me.
