Definitely a few voyeurs floating around in there haha, they must fill their bucket lists even faster than Parisians...

I wonder if they invented Discordianism

I have a few friends who have beaten me to this...! Bah

ETA: I saw that they got out before caught so the below is adapted from when I posted thinking they let themselves be discovered:

I happen to know someone who walked into an East Texas Pentecostal church to pray (she was non denominational) with a Metallica shirt on and was seized by the people there, bound and abused, in a so-called exorcism (apparently over the shirt). She only got out of it after giving up in trying to appeal to their sanity and instead pretending to be freed of demons and accepting Jesus. She called the police to press charges as soon as she could but the cops refused to help and told her to "dress appropriately" next time. The church couldn't understand why she called the cops on them for helping her nor why she refused to come to anymore services. (Btw, such things happen more than many realize, such as this incident. Of course it's even worse when children are placed in religious camps that are given "religious exemption" to child abuse laws.)

A friend of mine also had a little sister who was bound and given an exorcism by her mom's Pentecostal church because her "breasts came too soon" (one of the men literally put his hands on her breasts casting the demons out in the name of Jesus while she was tied up, starved, and abused in other ways, all at the request of her mother who watched). Sadly, the mom blames Satan instead of her own demented religion for why her ritually abused daughter (and son) kept running away from home.

So I shudder to think what such a church would do if it caught you or anyone else doing something like that.

Thanks for the heads up!

No way would I be brave enough to try such state side, or down south lol... FRAK!

Good old non-giving two ***** Europe for me

Obviously my friends where not caught, and nobody assumed anything odd had happened, perhaps other than slightly abnormal altar configuration...

They were smart and staked out the church first to see if it was possible to get away with it

My reasons for even considering it are simply because the church has screwed me over in one too many lives...

Burn the witch...

Although I'm still in shock over your exorcism stories

But you might be amused that a Discordian friend of mine did prank a Pentecostal church (though he wasn't a Discordian yet, or as he likes to say, he didn't know he was yet). It started when a military friend talked him into "helping disadvantaged kids" and deceived him somewhat. When they go to a place kids were being held the idea of "help" was to preach platitudes and Bible verses at them and he said the kids rightfully held them in contempt. He was embarrassed to be there, but he figured misunderstandings happen so he was gonna let it go.

And then they went to church for a service, and since he made it clear he wasn't interested in that he figured he was justified in giving a little payback (even if they didn't know it). As they talked in tongues and tried pulling the spirit down on him he started chanting from chants of the Necronomicon and Lovecraft (including, "Iä! Shub-Niggurath!") and had to fight the urge to laugh as many were happy and one was going, "I feel the Holy Spirit in you brother." He said once he heard that he realized he was sent by the Great Old Ones to drive them insane (not that they needed that much of a push) and he finished telling me this with, "and thus my work was done. Hail Eris."

Btw, I had sex in a church unisex bathroom before. I'd gone through the entire Pascha ritual (including weeks of fasting) that ended with an all night vigil of chanting, incense, and other mind altering practices and ended with us going to a basement level where a potluck feast awaited. Many Russians & Russian Americans were impressed that I manged to get through it because most American converts can't handle all the fasting the first time they try. Despite my being 17 they gave me both vodka and wine to drink (I saw them do the same to other kids, including one boy that I think was 10) and given all the fasting and being up all night (over 24 hours) I got rip roaring drunk (they thought alcohol was holy, or close enough, and even Jesus turned water into wine). Despite not being Christian (this was an unschooling project for me, though the Russian Americans were hoping I'd convert after, and a couple even snuck me sacred bread to eat that I, as a non-Christian, technically wasn't supposed to eat, and IIRC the bread was even dunked in a little wine as it represented the body & blood of Christ), when the priest (not entirely sober himself it seemed, and yelling, "Christos Voskrese!" while holding up a crucifix which meant "Christ is Risen!") I was very sincere when I stood up with one foot in a chair and another on the table, lifted my vodka, and answered the shouting priest with (along with the others at church, some who lifted their own alcoholic beverages), "Voistinu voskrese!" ("Indeed He is Risen!")

And inevitably after all I drunk I had to use their unisex bathroom, and a boy who'd also been drinking (either 17 or 18) followed me in and I let him. He came onto me aggressively and went along with it. I don't know if our having sex in ways that wouldn't allow for pregnancy made it better or worse.

After I sobered up (and caught up on my sleep) I regretted that as I thought it was disrespectful of the church, but one of my Russian American friends asked me about it and apparently the boy BRAGGED about it (and he was raised Russian Orthodox) so he apparently was fine with it. I do wonder if he ever confessed to having drunken sex in the church bathroom during the Pascha feast, and if so how the priest reacted (as I liked the priest I hope he wasn't horribly disappointed in me, but like many of Russian heritage he did come off as having a realistic attitude about human behavior, perhaps part of why I liked him that he could be so cynical and so kind at the same time with a touch of dry humor).

It was ok. I saw it, was a little bemused by it, but figured it just meant you found the way I wrote that and/or idea expressed really attractive and I take that as a compliment.

Never saw the movie.

A polyamorous technoshaman invited me to a private sex club when I was 20 (I turned 21 shortly after so sometimes I accidentally say I first went when I was 21). In the end the only reason I agreed to go was because of strict rules about consent, safety, barring anything that could take pix or vid, and requiring a medical exam (especially for STDs) by a doctor who was a member before one was allowed in (with random tests from time to time). I found it a very safe place to experiment (this is where I'd get into another threesome much better than the first I tried that I mentioned in this thread previously). It certainly had its problems and I left after a few months (and I usually showed up once a month when it was weekly, not counting the special events), but I don't regret it. I got to satisfy my curiosity on so many things without having to deal with a lot of awkwardness after.

I wouldn't be interested in going to such a place today. And I'd have never gone as a response to infidelity either (the problem I have with infidelity is the betrayal of trust not the having sex with someone else itself). Actually, the idea of cheating as revenge against a cheater not only strikes me as supremely petty and losing any moral high ground but it's using someone else (a stranger, or even worse, a friend) as a tool of revenge before coldly discarding them. I suppose one could hire a prostitute but the core betrayal of infidelity to me is an EMOTIONAL cheating (the sex counts, but is secondary, and thus a hiring a prostitute, while bad even under the best of circumstances, doesn't come close to being the same). Of course if my partner said, "I cheated, now you get one free pass" would defeat the purpose of revenge because cheating wouldn't then be cheating to me (because it was agreed upon in advance and thus not betraying trust) and certainly not a betrayal of trust (in fact that would be about making the guilty party feel better instead of worse).

Yea, It was complementary, I was just concerned that perhaps such phrases didn't transfer etymologically from Europe to the US, and didn't want to offend!

You are way ahead of the Game there Pixie, Ive so much catching up to do

I agree with all of the rules of that club, Id only be interested in partaking in group/ritualistic activities with such rules as the standard

Anything else is just not worth the risk, morally, medically and everything else

By an interesting coincidence, I just finished this vid, though not at that link (which is dead). Therefore, I'll link where you can find it:
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/bigideas/stories/2011/11/22/3372165.htm

Note, to prevent anyone replying to the very topic without seeing it first (as tends to happen), he does not say monogamy is bad (even says his parents have been as far as he knows, and if they're not, then he doesn't want to know), just that it goes against our evolutionary development (it also explains how we can reasonably assume monogamy is relatively recent in humanity, and why it came about) so that it's not necessarily anyone's fault if say a spouse becomes less attractive for the same reason that becoming a vegetarian doesn't mean that bacon stops smelling good, and therefore don't make an issue of it (rather, understand your choice rather than believing monogamy is natural and therefore don't seek someone or something to blame when it becomes hard). As he says in the Q&A, his book that he was invited to speak about doesn't advocate anything, it's just to inform (and counter some BS that is harmful to society), and does note differences like how much more a problem STDs are today that were not such an issue when humanity was more like bonobos in sexual behavior (today we're more like chimpanzees in social and sexual behavior). And also the connection between love and sex, and the common mistake of confusing lust with love.

Interesting enough, only 4 animals (humans, bonobos, chimpanzees, and dolphins) are known to have sex for sheer recreation (such as oral sex, for example), though in the Q&A does go into homosexuality being routinely seen in hundreds of species.

Personally, I loved that passage about how a love between human and dog could be purer than between spouses (perhaps the only form of unconditional love that truly exists and isn't unhealthy).

The talk itself is less than 30 minutes, well worth seeing, IMO, and then it continues in Q&A discussion which expands on the bonobos and also how the treatment of hysteria led to the vibrator being one of the first 10 inventions once electricity (including batteries) started being used. Though my favorite Q&A was why violence is more acceptable, even cultivated, while sex is repressed, and a brief summary on the anthropological studies of the connection between sex and violence in cultures around the world. But there was a lot of interesting stuff.

Voyeristic stuff must be the only thing I haven't done from the list. I need privacy.

I dislike weird places, I can get hot from it but not advance into full sex acts there.

I don't really love the concept of the list because the best for me is the unexpected. Humans are very creative, since my partner shares their crazy ideas I'm willing to give it a go.

Ah group sex...no. I like to focus on what I'm doing. Too many people is just kind of embarassing and distracting for me.

I almost had sex with an hungarian guy in a cruise when I was 16 but...I was too sea sick lool

Also some fantasies don't work in reality. I thought I was the passive type but I actually became quite dominant when asked to do it...I don't like being controlled at all.
