Hi Junethird, it seems like imo without knowing the whole situation of course, that he has come back to you because he is genuinely interested, but he is wounded from his past and maybe he's threatened by you being so independant so he's finding excuses to run...

Either way I'm sure you already know that, and all you can do is give the situation time and not back down from who you really are. I know from your posts you're a strong, insightful, and optimistic person, so if he chooses to run from that it really is his loss

Thank you FireMoon

Yes, thats what ive rationalized for myself... Altho frustrating because ive always been like this, since day one of our first date six years ago -_-

I too hope he gets over it soon, but at the same time preparing to move forward with my life plans for myself... I cant allow myself to be put on the backburner for much longer. I dont plan on being single by choice for much longer. So it will be his loss once he "wakes" up and i have to break it to him that i have moved on with someone else

And I say this cause I fall into my own false thinking that let him loose me, his loss, one day, etc....

But I realize he will never learn cause he is he and is so different than me
