My mom's life long friend met someone online, and they've been married for a long time.

I think it's one thing when you meet someone online you have great communication with, and one day you decide you wanna hang out in person (somewhere public) as friends, and have it grow from there... but it's another if your calling someone you've never met your bf/gf... yea that's weird, but hey it's not as bad as arranged marriages.. at least you have a choice.

cause for thread: someone i'm related to is having a teen rebellion phase except the guy is foreign and not exactly present.

idk if the objection is that it's online and might be dangerous or because of other things i'm not privy to like job, culture, etc.. i can't tell i have loose morals.

Oh ok, still pretty young, so I can see why you would be concerned. You can always go w/ her if they decide to meet eachother. As long as she doesn't meet him privately at a hotel or something lol

Oh I see, well finding love online is becoming more common nowadays, so I don't think it would be an issue. I hope
