Like I said, I care most about brain cells.

My wife and I have a 8 inch height differential. It's never been an issue. No one has ever confused who is a Beauty and who is the Beast in my marriage lol

haha. I agree that height isn't all that important but i'd be lying if I said long legs don't catch my eye.

I'm 5'10 1/2" and it's not a huge issue for ME. I guess if the guy was like... 5'5" then it might be an issue. However, I've dated men from 5'6" to 6'3". My husband is about 5'10".

Mostly it's an issue from the guy's point of view. A tall woman can intimidate certain men.

LMFAO

I just splurted coffee all over my keyboard!

~~~ I think it's only school age minds that play those guessing games...
but in all fairness~~~ men think larger women = larger hooters, lucky for them (or not/iunno) the answer is usually obvious since we can't hide our -um- bulges (or lack thereof) like gentlemen can. :X
~just sayin~ ^.-
thanks for the laugh!~
Well see I was thinking y do they want tiny women or are intimidated by taller ones? To feel big and masculine or because they think they can't handle them?
Socio-biological roles, dear sand! The man is supposed to be the protector, the provider, all that stuff! But as you can see, fully capable men such as YoursTrulyAlways have no issue with such assumed roles.
Personally, I'd love to rock with a gal my height!
I'm generally attracted to guys who are taller than I am (I'm 5'8), but I wouldn't make an issue out of the height thing - if I liked him overall.
The problem is - guys who are shorter have tended to be very scared of me.. and I can't deal with that. I need a brave man in my life. I'm an Aries after all lol
Damn! Too bad I'm neither hahaha! This Leo Mars/Rising is neither frightful nor brave. Just...too busy having a good time to stand up to challenges, or shy away from them.
I hate to say it but for me it definitely is. I have dated a couple short guys and it just didn't work for me, there wasn't any real sexual attraction on my end. I felt bad telling them that I didn't want to date them anymore but I guess I like what I like. I like being the smaller person, it's sexy...
I do feel for short guys though. I can imagine that it must be hard especially with women like me
Oh yah I read this article like forever ago but since this thread came back it's relevant!
Scientists say the optimal ratio for couples to succeed is 1 to 1.09, female to male. So me, at 5'11, would need a gal around 5'5.
Reminds me of another article I read about the most attractive body ratios in women...1 to 0.7, hips to waist. Jennifer Lopez has the ideal ratio...26 inch waist, 38 inch hips.
Please don't feel sorry. This short guy (5'10") has dated women from anywhere between 4'10" to 6'2" (without heels) without issue and without difficulty. It's not about the height. Charisma, competence and confidence has nothing to do with height. Napoleon got all the women he ever wanted.
Most of all, height has no correlation to brain size.
5'10 is not short. 5'6 is short. 5'7 is short. 5'10 is average.
My point is that it is short only if you have no confidence and no self esteem.
And if you are a guy who allows some woman to denigrate your height, then you have issues. Never bothered Napoleon or Kim Jong Il
BTW Aquacheeka, 5'10" is the norm in North America. In the Netherlands and Scandinavia, "normal" is probably 6'2" to 6'4." Where I come from in Asia, women are mostly 5'2" to 5'4" and guys are mostly 5'6" to 5'9."
3 feet tall to 7 feet tall,
Makes no difference to me.
Seems lots of men DO have issues with height and legs of women bodies though.
At 5 feet 2 inches with legs only a bit over 2 feet long;
well, the long leg lovers are out of luck with me.
