Rather more than a little surprised that you have asked those questions. I guess you do not visit all forums or read older threads.????????????????????????????? I am married to a gay man. Was previously married to 2 bi men. Mostly dated or had lovers who were bi or gay or just androgyne, or men other women and or men rejected; as deformed men, paralyzed, missing various body parts, terribly scarred, big men, tiny men, and basically I went for their minds firstly, the body second. Many treasures there amongst the ones rejected by many. I also was with the traditional idea of the perfect bodied men also; the kind that women go crazy for. Oddly they were often gay. Before you ask how a woman can be with gay or bi men; it is not all about sex. Physical intimacy is far more complex than mere intercourse. In fact I have been physically celibate for years to date. Also as I found, some gay men do not mind regular male/female sex; with the right woman who thinks like a man, not a woman. Yes it can be complicated. And of course I was/am attracted to men! How else did I give birth? Or been pregnant and lost over 26+ times? I even had a serious LDR with a man for awhile.IP: Logged |

Thanks Lexxi, what I've come to learn is amongst men there are the classes of wolves in the pack so to speak. Alpha, Beta etc I'm more of a Sigma, meaning heirarchy is contemptable to me as are social constructs, this is either a product of my placements or just my life, but either way I'm always going to be looked at as the attractive outsider. The law of attraction being what is that means one attracts other outsiders naturally. Be one dark and scary or just funky and unique, outsiders congregate together. Difference being I can move and out of social hierarchies at will and people try and get me to join in whatever is they are doing to subject me to the social hierarchy THAT I staunchly refuse to do, which is why (imo) outsiders, the weird, the outcasts and what have you just gravitate to me. I take it as a point of pride that I can have CEO's as friends and transgenders as friends and gays and lesbian as friends and treat them all the same. But that also means if I am peeved or just feeling weird, people think I'm angry with whatever it is they think they are and it hurts people's feelings and my Empathy meter is really high so I can tell when they are hurt or upset or sad with me. Which also comes with the territory and the cost of Sigma. Like people who deserve to be respected until they prove otherwise.

Interestingly if I am getting what you are saying; then it all resonates with me personally. Guess I might be a Sigma too. LOL...or do you see me as one of the: quote: outsiders, the weird, the outcasts and what have you just gravitate to me.

Do not know, as the difference is the Sigma can move in and out of the Hierarchy but is indifferent to it, but those in Hierarchy the Alphas in particular are wary of a Sigma b/c we don't kiss their backsides and we refuse the baits the Alpha offers to "be one of us". Which basically means "be one us by submitting to me in an orderly fashion" the Sigma will have none of that and it either causes respect from the Alpha or fear from the Alpha and the pack will take their ques from that reaction. In religious terms if an Alpha is a King, a Sigma is a Prophet. Really do not know if you are outcast Lexxi, as the internet is a poor venue to gauge stuff like that. IP: Logged |
