Well, that's it.
I just don't, I guess.

Do other people feel that way, too?

Am I only odd in that I don't readily adapt to different mores and social situations (thereby fitting in)?

Or do others easily have a home, a tribe, or even myriad?

There's only one "place" where I feel like I can be me and "fit", but I won't go on about it as I have the feeling that I already do ad nauseum.

You don't have to fit in anywhere. You are who you are, and you shouldn't compromise who you are to appease any person or group of individuals. Stand tall and stand proud. And anyone who doesn't like me can KMA. Anyone can call me anything they want. Doesn't cost me a dime. (11th House heavy)

hmmmm......

[I]*she reads mockingbird's post... thinks, 1st Hs Uranus, 11th Hs Saturn.... I'm still sorta 'new' at astrology... and I've never seen her/his chart, but will take a general leap of courage and faith to express... worries that others won't notice how deeply she cares and how much she wants to "lift" hearts and help others recognize and catalyze hopes and dreams.... BIG heavy sigh*

The first house is Aries' House, transiting Uranus visits here for the next 7 years....

Uranus in your first house and expresses its existence as 'individual'... likes feeling not-too-attached... wants to be free and feel independence and wants to join and innovate with others who may also independently feel the same sort of vibings. Isolative, yet really not.

Saturn in the eleventh wants to contribute in friendships, connections, but could possibly feel uncomfortably crunched-in and mashed by the myriad contemporary 'social' requirements (mores & folkways). Looks at what clues and signs is required to note that Saturn is 'belonging' somewhere... Feels the inner pressure that says that in order to have and keep 'those' friends, you may feel forced to 'conform' to them (non-fit) and they will require you give up 'who you are'... but you realize it's impossible to even 'pretend' it if you did. You will think you're sticking out (not "fitting"), feel awkward, want to express but others know and feel that Saturnine-presence which invokes their self-examining and they think they must 'choose'... And the WHOLE TIME, you didn't even have to say a word... It was "felt" in your presence. All you did was show up! Saturn to the group asks what are your goals, where are you going, who are we serving, are we 'together' or not together? ewww.... THAT is "sticking out" if the group doesn't realize its group-I-ness...

(mmmmm, maybe some Pluto-resonations there too? T-Pluto in Saturn's House Capricorn...)

The 11th House is Uranus' House... The house of wishes and dreams, possibilities of what you could accomplish 'with groups,' if you could feel 'allowed' to (Uranus-1st) remain 'being yourself'... Saturn is steady and Loyal-- committed and ready. But are "they" ready for your level of 'realness' + 'tin-foil' ... Originality?

A while back I was staring and marveling at a giant poster I had from year 2000 National Geographic magazine issue. I examined in close detail how Uranus revolves "on its belly" in the picture -- Its North pole points out a different perspective or new direction in its orientation to the other planets in the solar system.

Then I looked at the Galactic Center, the core of our Milky Way Galaxy. I examined the tilt in the position of our own spiral Sun Solar System in respects to the revolving arms of our own Milky Way Galaxy.... I noticed that OUR solar system planets (focused on revolving around our Sun) are (or may be?) at orientation of making 'right-angles' to the galaxy's Galactic arms....

BUT AND HOWEVER! Our dear "exceptional and independent and rebellious" planet URANUS is revolving on the same whirling level as the arms and matter that revolves around our Galactic Center!

Now, WHO is in sync, and with what....?

Uranus is "accused" of being "too different" and too independent and just "resists the flow" of the status quo--- yet remains in orbits with the 'group' of planets.

But when you take the more Sagittarian view... (Galactic Center is IN Sagittarius), Uranus then plays an extremely important part of the group--- because Uranus "sees" and is in line with the Grand center Source and vibes to what that is!

So, Uranus is in the Solar group-- and the planets call Uranus the rebel. The Solar group revolves around it's own self-identity (Sun).... possibly shunning Uranus as strange because it's doing its own crazy thing apart from them, yet orbits with them. Uranus is not-with the others... not "conformed" but yet with in the form of its "presence"...

The Sun Solar System rotates/ circulates around the Galactic Center at a 'rebellious' angle..... Uranus is the one in HARMONY WITH the movement of the Source!---- in Sag.

mockingbird.... you "fit" here.
mirage29 "fits" here...

Someone said that the energy seems to have 'shifted' at LL. They complained that it seems "too Uranian" now.... They were uncomfortable with this?

What I want to say in response to them is YAY!! We've got 'possibilities' working. New! Look up! Because it's a new day, and instead of being limited to only the Sun, we are AWARE that we travel on further, shooting for the stars beyond our solar system.... We hear and vibe to Source. We "fit" the direction of the House of Dreams and Social Groups.... We 'serve' others in sync...

Not conformed yet the new "fit" is this being 'in-sync' with each other. New way of looking, change in perspectives, new views. By feeling that we can take the ceiling off 'what is normal', then "We" in ensemble, are 'in-sync'....

Don't feel like your fit in anywhere...? Hmm. Is it just in your head? Maybe you think you don't fit in, so you end up subconsciously prevent yourself from fitting in?

Same here, but I would flip it as an advantage.

In some cases it can be a benefit, you might notice and have the foresight for things others may have missed.

For example maybe you saw the signs of economic downturn well before everyone else did.

Boom, major difference between majority of Men and Women.

Men by and large, don't care about fitting in.

Women by and large, do care about fitting in, at least somewhere, even if it is only with 1 person.

Mockingbird, would you consider yourself to have no really good friends? I understand if that is too invasive, I just feel that if you did have 1 really good friend you may not describe yourself as not fitting in anywhere, I don't know.

We are all unique, but we also have things in common. We all share in the uniqueness, as well as some interests and hobbies etc.

I know how you feel, I sometimes don't feel like I fit in.

Hope things get better =)

p.s. I like your sense of humour.

mockingbird! (Happy Mother's Day to you...

More about SATURN in the 11th House---

quote:
ISABEL HICKEY (Astrology Cosmic Science, 1970, p. 182)
SATURN IN THE ELEVENTH HOUSE
"Hard to obtain goals and objectives but they can be attained if the person will be patient and willing to work. Have to earn everything with this position of Saturn. If it is done the rewards are great, and life gets better as it advances. Many acquaintances, but few intimates. An unrecognized fear of the demands made due to friendship. Attracted to older people. The type of friends sought will be of great importance for if they be the wrong type great difficulties come to the one who has Saturn in this house. Saturn delays but does not deny objectives.

quote:
Barbara Hand Clow, (Liquid Light of Sex, 2001, p.233)

These interpretations describe mastery of Saturn patterns by timing, and they have little to do with Saturnine restrictions.... Many people do learn to utilize Saturn during the first thirty years of life, since Saturn functions best when a person has a strong will, usually when Saturn is in the 11th house....

> Your central life issue is to give yourself to the world; this calls for mastery of how to create your own reality.... / finding a way to deliver your gift / your ability to create is like a flowing spring...

> You were a charming and curious small child who turned serious very young. A brilliant student all the way through, you didn't seem to understand limitation. You tended to have a long education or you were a student in life.

.. When Saturn opposed itself at ages 14 to 15 (Saturn in the 5th), you created original things and a plan that you focused on. Your uniqueness was visible during your late twenties, and whatever mattered to you then has probably guided your whole life....
