LOL okay

So there's a bunch of construction going on around here. I've only lived here a few months so I'm not really THAT good at getting around. Somewhat, but not a natural.
Tonight they closed off a section of road completely. I got in to where I wanted to pick up a couple of things but couldn't get back out because a worker was standing there directing to not go in there.
She directed me forward which basically just dead ends or sends me back into the parking lot.
So I turn around, as I'm pulling up she looks irritated motioning for me to go on. I stop and I'm kind of irritated myself. I say, "How do I get out of here!?!"
She's extremely rude and says, "I don't know. Over there somewhere. This isn't the only exit out of here."
Okay, being a little rude I can understand because I was slightly. She was way more rude in her tone than I was though. Plus, "I DON'T KNOW?!?!?!" What kind of answer is that?? They set up the thing they ought to effin' know. Once I finally got out I had to go back the way I came on the highway. They had no detour signs of how to get to the other side of where they were working.

It sounds like a trivial thing probably is but it's ALLLLLL I can do right now not to go back there and cuss her @ss out and maybe talk to the supervisor. "I don't know".... pfft... wtf man?
I'm sure they wouldn't listen to me anyway because they're hired by the city and I'm just some little moaning nobody. I thought about like driving by and throwing a big cold water balloon or something but technically, that's assault which is stupid, but it is.

I don't know if I should go back and cuss her out or not. ****** me off.... lol

I'm going. I don't have to take that crap. LOL
Edit:
Dang
I went but she was gone. I talked to this other guy but I was cool. It's not his fault and he was nice. I did explain it and let him know it irritated me.

Hahaha see? There's a Leo in me.
As silly as the whole thing probably was and the fact that the guy probably didn't give a crap. I still feel better. LOL

I'm all good now.

All I can say is I relate

When I get mad I have to TAKE IT OUT.

One time I was so MAD at the cashier - I was in a supermarket and she was giving me grief because she didn't have the exact change. I get really annoyed when am rendered less the amount of money that I am due. It was short of 20 cents actually but I was too mad to care . I told her I've changed my mind now I returned all purchased articles and told her to give me back my money

Yeah leos are crazy when they get mad

leos are some of the nicest and most respectful people i know.

they just get mad really easily and when that happens they get kinda silly. for example, my room mate is a leo and he gets mad at the STUPIDEST things. we are close friends so if we go over a friends house in the same group me and my aqua friend like to act all crazy...anyways, my leo room mate friend will get all frustrated because we make stupid noises etc. just typical 21 year old kids havin fun. once he was telling us to stop but we didnt hear him complain it was annoying him and he got REALLY ticked off. he actually sprung up from the couch across the room and his body language denoted that he was about to hit my aqua friend. thankfully my arian instincts kicked in and i reacted without thinking and was able to get in the way of them.

also he gets really angry at call of duty. i just have to laugh.

I would do the same. Leo rising here.

In fact I did something similar recently. 'Shopped for a bunch of children's clothes, and the woman at the cash register asked for my phone number. I gave my standard response, "No thank you" which is the most polite way I can think of to deflect their invasive question (I just want to buy stuff, not establish a lifelong friendship, okay? You don't need my number.)

She got indignant and informed me I couldn't buy anything without giving her my phone number. I matter-of-factly just said, "Really? Okay, then I will just put everything back" and got the stuff off the counter. She huffed, "Wait, I'll call my manager" and glared at me.

The manager was sweet and normal and fixed everything. If she had been anything less than kind, I wouldn't have completed the purchase.

I think it's good that you tried to fix the problem, it might help others if the manager actually addresses the issue.

Geea - I was contemplating what was more important, my anger, or my laziness. I do make an effort to just go on, which I did. Sometimes it just burns off and I'm fine. This was just festering so I thought, "Okay, I gotta go say something." :P Experience has told me to just sit on it for a bit. No one wants me to have immediate reactions. LMAO!
I was careful to not be rude to the guy as if I was upset with HIM somehow, but yet to convey a message that I was upset.

Jessica2407 - See, that I probably wouldn't have gotten upset about. It doesn't mean I think it's wrong to get upset, because you're right. Different things upset different Leos.

________

I wouldn't hit anyone either, especially for noises. I can be ridiculous but I only resorted to violence twice and neither was that bad. One was they were physical with me first and the other screamed insults into my face after warning him for a good long while that he was annoying me.

------------

It just depends what it is. Like one time years ago this chick, (Aquarius) thought she heard me say something that I didn't actually say. She took this huge roll of 55 gallon trash bags and hurled it across the room at me. It hit me in the side of the jaw. It fricken hurt!
I think the only thing I did though was annoyingly tell her that what she heard isn't what I said and that was the end of that.

It just depends what it is. I've worked with public a lot and I always gave two things, and I expect them. Respect/politeness, and effort. Like, if I go to say, Wal-Mart, Target, etc I don't expect that every employee know where everything is. But if I'm looking for something, I expect they try to find out. Which is EXACTLY what I did when I worked at a retail store years ago. If I had to walk half way across the store I did. That was my job. I was never rude.

This chick had ONE other exit to know about. It was a HUUUUUUUUGE parking lot as multiple businesses used the same entrance/exit so it wasn't easy to see and the other one went out to the middle of nowhere towards this tiny airport.
"I don't know! Over there somewhere. This isn't the only exit out of here". She sounded like a whiny, annoyed 11 year old girl. LOL No lady... I don't accept that answer. LOL

I'm good now though. I felt better as soon as I talked to somebody.

Hahahaha! Was it her pitch that displeases you really? But since she is "a chick", I guess it wasn't that bad after all.

oh yes! That too gets me all riled up.

Why do they need my phone num??? What if I don't have a phone num??

Thing is we leos will seldom accept 'defeat' even if we know we are going a little over the top

No that's not true. leos are fixed signs that don't get angry just for the heck of getting angry. If we are angry there is a cause- always. Although we are a tad unreasonable because like I said we won't compromise. If something has ticked us off to the point of anger it's a no-return.

I don't need to be heard nor validated when I am mad, I NEED to take it out, it could be through actions or words depending on the issue at hand. Most of the times, like 99%,I will not reconsider a course of action that I have taken. So if I have broken up with a guy for instance, that would be IT.

Spot on Jessica. Spot on.

K,
It's cool. I know we can be ridiculous and unreasonable.

Nah, it wasn't anything to do with sex, race, or anything. You know Leo's it was respect. I was completely ready to be extremely friendly and ask directions out even in my already annoyed state. I knew it wasn't - her -, but when she was acting all agitated and talked to me like that, she entered another world with me. I left because over the years I've learned that acting instantaneously, on the spot is ALWAYS a very bad idea.

But that energy snowballs and HAS to come out. It's weird like I can almost physically feel it growing inside.

Oh, but something simple like expressing my anger to a man who had nothing to do with it made me feel just fine. So long as it gets out. I was sure to let him know it's not him. He was cool.
I know who my target is always. It annoys me when people just start ranting and raving about a whole company because they had a bad experience with an individual.

It all probably sounds worse than it was. :-)

Ahem. Leos would totally seek revenge. Revenge is a way to control the situation and Leos (disclaimer: not all) need to control things. Furthermore they hide behind a mask of ethics. Zander, I'm using you as an example here although it may not be specifically true for you. He would have gone and talked to the supervisor to get her in trouble. To outsiders it looks like revenge, but if asked to admit such an act he may say, "No, she needed to be put in her place." Like he is doing her a favor. They can be quite arrogant, but it especially shows when they're ****** off like that.

My Mrs. would be like Godzilla let loose. Temper tantrum? Like a giant T-Rex on a destruction trail. No little pussycat Leos. Good thing she doesn't pack a gatt.
