I'm pathetic and frankly, everyone hates me. I'd just be better to rid myself of the world. I'm a victim in a world of murderers. See you.IP: Logged |

Let's not do that, shall we? Also, I'm the worst person to first reply on your thread & I hope someone Christian steps in & rallies you right into church... (Think 5 of pentacles RX). Find one of the hotlines/good Samaritans if you are serious. They can talk to you & vice versa. It helps. IP: Logged |

I had a dream I killed myself but I went to a dimension similar to Hell and it was hard to get back in my body! Har har... boy was I sad.my dreams have been intensely psychic and its been torturing me, frankly. I at least hope for my death to be caused by illness or someone else's hands. IP: Logged |

I know exactly where you're coming from. Maybe you're actually having a spiritual awakening, Karka? With the increased psychic experiences and sensitivity...
You definitely aren't pathetic.
Most people go through some rough times sometimes. I can assure you that you're not alone; and hopefully those feelings will pass soon. Hang in there. *hug*

That would be such a waste... You a lot of potential, I'm not just saying that. So don't let negative people bring you down, because they are the ones who are pathetic. You need to be strong and you have to fight, don't let negativity take over your life!IP: Logged |

Karka don't do it. I've had my dark suicidal days too in the past & although all I could see was black back then, things actually do get better even if you can't see the results yet. I know it's hard to have faith & hope but life is like that, you get those good cycles & those bad ones & sometimes you learn from those dark times, it will make you stronger that's for sure. I send you healing & wish you'll find some peace of mind. IP: Logged |

When I was around your age I felt very suicidal so I understand. Sooner or later it'll get better, trust me. Don't do anything stupid, just try to calm down.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I'm feeling this way too, again, even though a couple of people have shown my otherwise. I'm fighting it. Please know that you are loved. That goes for Doux, too. Doux, you are one of the kindest people I've met in recent years. You put people at ease, you put me at ease when I needed it. I really think that you're wonderful; I was surprised to learn how young you are, but I saw elsewhere that you get that a lot - it doesn't surprise me. IP: Logged |

Makes me sad to see that so many people struggle in their lives. Just keep going... One day at a time. IP: Logged |

From LINDA GOODMAN'S STAR SIGNS Pg. 342-344 One night, some years ago, but not too many (and not for the first time) I, too, decided to seek oblivion. It seemed to me to be a country mile more intriguing, not to mention more peaceful, than continuing to swim around, trying to stay afloat and avoid the sharks in the chaotic waters of confusion threatening to drown me, in both a personal and general sense, you know? I kept thinking about what a bitter acquaintance of mine had said: "There are only two kinds of people in the world -- bast*rds and victims." It wasn't hard to figure which group I belonged in. Since I don't have what it takes to be in the first group, and I was weary of being in the second group, it made sense to go somewhere else where there was another club to join -- where neither of the other two existed. I wasn't sure of the directions to wherever it was I would be going after I was dead, but I wasn't sure of the directions here either, where, just when you think you've learned the rules, it's halftime . . . change sides. Actually the reasons aren't important. God knows there are whole bushel baskets of them to choose from, right? I was living in New York at the time. (That's one good reason right there!) I had read an ad in the paper about a telephone number for a suicide prevention group called "Why Kill Yourself?" (WKY.) So I dialed the number, having decided I was checking out for sure, but curious to see if anyone had a logical argument against my decision. It was a Sunday morning. Gloomy Sunday. The phone rang several times, then a tape-recorded message was activated, and a pleasant male voice with a southern accent spoke these words: "Good morning! This is one of your friends you've never met. We're really interested in talking with you about why you want to die. Please call us back Monday through Friday, between ten A.M. and four P.M. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving, so we'll be closed all day. Bye! I burst out laughing. I couldn't control myself, it was hilarious. Then I walked over to the mirror, and gazed at my face looking back at me, without realizing it, also staring into my Third Eye, which I later figured is why I seem to get all of my best ideas when I'm staring into the mirror, washing my face, brushing my hair or teeth or applying makeup. Has that happened to you ? (If you're a boy or a man . . . like, when you're shaving or blow- drying your beard?) Well, anyway, I spoke aloud to my mirror image. "Look, knucklehead, now that you know you can't take off on a permanent astral trip (assuming you want to debate the travel plans with someone first) before ten in the morning or after four in the afternoon -- and never on weekends or holidays, why don't you hang out a little longer and see if this (expletive deleted) pineapple-upside-down-cake-freaked-out world has any more laughs to offer? Don't cancel your trip to the cemetery, just postpone it, and who knows ? Maybe the Universe will abracadabra your own Guru in MacArthur Park to tell you why someone left the cake out in the rain, and help you remember the recipe so you can bake a new one." I did -- and it did. The cake wasn't really ruined, just a little damp. And I found more laughs too. In fact, I discovered there's more to laugh about than to cry about in this lunatic asylum where the wise ones are locked up (people protesting nuclear madness) and the really flaky ones are running around free. Then I was absorbed in the challenge of how to reverse or re-verse the situation, and pretty soon it became as exciting as working on a blueprint for breaking out of Alcatraz, like that old Clint Eastwood movie. There are lots of laughs ahead for you too. Not only laughs, but also a few certified miracles in assorted sizes, colors and sounds that are going to really blow you away -- not into a casket -- into a workable Time Machine capable of taking you on trips that will make an acid trip seem as mild as drinking the sassafras tea Peter Rabbit's Mum used to brew. I absolutely promise you that, druid honor -- and I have this thing about not breaking promises. Trust me, okay ? No. Toss out that question mark and give it a period. Trust me. ****************************************** Thinking of you and sending positive energy your way, KarkaQueen. Time to time, I think everyone has depressive spells and sometimes it can be hard to will yourself to shake it off. Sometimes when I get in a funk, I think about reconciliation of opposites. How can you have a front without a back? How can you have happy without sad? And even if I have to force myself, I try to find things to laugh about. I guess I should add that they don't say died laughing for nothing either, but (unless you have a heart condition) it is so very rare I wouldn't even worry about it. quote:
On 24 March 1975, Alex Mitchell, from King's Lynn, England, died laughing while watching the "Kung Fu Kapers" episode of The Goodies, featuring a kilt-clad Scotsman with his bagpipes battling a master of the Lancastrian martial art "Eckythump", who was armed with a black pudding. After 25 minutes of continuous laughter, Mitchell finally slumped on the sofa and died from heart failure. His widow later sent The Goodies a letter thanking them for making Mitchell's final moments of life so pleasant. Diagnosis of his granddaughter in 2012 of having the inheritable long QT syndrome (a heart rhythm abnormality) suggests that Mitchell may have died of a cardiac arrest caused by long QT syndrome. The Goodies - Kung Fu Kapers
quote:
In 1989, Ole Bentzen, a Danish audiologist, died laughing while watching A Fish Called Wanda. His heart was estimated to have beaten at between 250 and 500 beats per minute, before he succumbed to cardiac arrest. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_from_laughter
